Recently I have searched for one car with an IDSL engine that shows it only 5.9 km per liter when I press the trip switch. May I know the reason for that and can that be rectified?
start from the air filter. and other systems.. and driving style matters a lot... a small problem in one sensor can make big difference. if u can find good mechanic tell him to scan the system and many of issue can be found and they should be rectifited first.
True! There is a test called Dyno to check the engine output power. It will show how many horses get lost over the years and how many remain. Most of the vehicles lost their stock power at high mileage. They need to do a complete engine tuneup or replacement to get it back.
