Great video. I watch DP about every day so it's good to get a different perspective from Derby. We just sold our 40' diesel pusher motorhome that we had for 10 years and we had many great adventures in it and all the ones before it. Started our tent camping, then a Jeep, then a VW camper van, another van and 3 motor homes. About 30 plus years of adventure and now retired but really enjoyed your excitement about making your own adventures with the family. Happy trails from Houston.
A proper old school pardon the hint your wife's on 📷 she doing well We got to learn living in England 🇬🇧 there one at a wrecker company close to me mick goulds flimmwell Sussex
with 5 diff volumes.... or a VOLUME KNOB even so you can turn it UP or turn it DOWN... (that would be an ELECTRONIC ONE not air one but.... eh...) so you can honk it QUIETLY TOO so not to annoy those that want QUIET and here you are with a 250 db train horn blaring in the campground callin your kids to dinner !! LOL HAHAHAHAAH or something
this reminds me when we bought our first RV to tour the UK, it was a 'Dodge Georgieboy Motorhome' cost £14,000 to have it shipped to the UK, but that lead to complaints from the wife having to walk everywhere or take the RV camper that was back in the 80s... i was expanding the business globally back then, then i went all out and bought a much bigger costlier RV with garage in the back for a smart car, 2 mountain bikes and i havent looked back on it, runs like a dream, easy to set up and as its on bio disel is very cheap on fuel.
Nice job on your "new" camper! It won't be long before it will be just second nature for you to drive it around when and wherever you want to. Thanks for showing it to us! J.R.
Delores looks great. DOT Bear Woodworking did a great job setting it up , but you did an even better job of decorating the inside. My wife and I are coming to the Perry County Fair. My wife would love to meet you.
i'm happy for you and the kids, and the great adventures that are ahead for y'all. i was hoping that you would use the horn on the kids....lol. Officer Hoover did a great job on the bus.....aka Delores!!!
Poor Mike, bet he was sweating stood at the front. Looks like its a brilliant build, something as a family you'll not only enjoy but make precious memories as well. 👍🤗
Hi Jenna, after years of watching Mike operate all sorts of equipment, I will hazard to say you have gotten him beat in the window department! Mike has never had a footprint on his windshield. 😂Just kidding but you might consider signing up for a class 4 drivers drivers licence course. They will teach you about calculating your "overhang" when turning and backing up etc. If you stand beside your bus at the back axle or wheels and get one of the kids to stand at the back end of your bike rack where you can see them, that distance is how much room you need when making turns in tight places. You did good but your confidence will improve a lot by learning about things you may not know. Like how to set your mirrors and how often to check them when driving. Have fun with your new camping bus. Cheers from Canada.
Mike is so full of it, check him out working on the very thing he said he would not work on, woman power, I have been married 40 years and could have told him just say yes dear, for you end up saying it anyways, nice job with the bus officer Hoover.
That is an ancient Bluebird bus! I work at the national parts distribution warehouse for Bluebird in Delaware, Ohio. The buses are built in Fort Valley ,Georgia near Macon. I believe yours is on a 4900 International chassis. It also has a wheelchair lift I see. Don't break the double doors we no longer stock those lol. AL B in Ohio.
Looks a beauty for sure, was half expecting Kevin at C&C to camo it but looks good as it is. Mr Hover did a great job on the finishing touches to it. Safe travels where ever they may lead
As an old retired body & fender guy (still welding and metal design & fabricating,) love the color you choose. Delores needs her name pin-striped painted onto the bus, (may I suggest the front of the hood) looks awesome. I hope you have many great memories. Don't forget to take lots of picture's, you'll be glad you did. We need pictures of Mike's ARTIC WHITE leg's to laugh at. LOL
You go girl. Yes,you gotta have a horn or a good middle finger for all the crazy drivers. Love the bus!!!! (The first comment is my from my newly Wed wife). I stand by my first comment on your and Mike's channel. Wife not happy, nobody is happy!! So happy to see Mike getting involved with your pursuit ( with your kids) to a happy camping life! Loved the video ❤❤
Congrats, Officer Hoover did a great job on the camper for you. DP, MBTH, C&C equipment and Kevin are glad DP had it painted because on one wanted to paint it for you. Is Farmer Chis going to allow DP towing and recovery come and pull you out when you get it stuck? LOL Glad it got your camper. SOT metalworks did a awesome job on the sign. Now DP and MBTS need to get you a front step so it not so high to get into the bus and also need to get you a auto leveling system for the bus. Got to be thankful for great friends that was made from UA-cam and DP getting pulled over the first time.
Wait! Did I just see DP smile on your channel??? LOLOLOLOL Looks like you need to put up a sign for DP. That says no standing allowed!😄 Nice camper and I’m happy for you and the kids!
I always thought you spoosed to SLAM THEM ON first time to SEE WHERE THE TOO FAR is... ;) SHE DID WHAT THEY TAUGHT US IN DRIVERS ED IN INDIANA !!! just syaing.... TEST Y OUR BRAKES ... and in the clutch it was operate it a few times so see where it feathers before you go MOVVING THE CAR!!!
Well young lady, I have been camping/ glamping since the early 70’s, always a fun time, despite some of the issues you WILL run into, but it’s all part of the adventure. I would say you have a really nice camper setup and looks to be geared toward fun, which is what it is all about. Enjoy the family time, best wishes to you all.
We never had a bad day camping look in your mirrors going down the road and you can see your back tires to judge the distance of your tires to the center lines have fun 😊😊😊
Dear mrs dirt When driving two things to remember Mirrors and shoulders When making a right turn as your shoulder lines up with the right shoulder begin your turn and when making a left when your left shoulder lines up with the median or stipe begin your turn
A big step up from the vamper enjoy every opportunity to be making memories with the kids. Also get Mike out whenever you can he needs some vacation time too.
What happened Derby go into a time warp you got a camper / bus and Mike helping on it. Now the great adventures of camping begins. I see one problem and maybe officer Hoover pointed it out was your exhaust pipe comes out into the setting area you may what to relocate it to the rear of the camper also so fumes don’t come into the camper while driving HAPPY ADVENTURE
I have never seen Mr. Dirt Perfect so awfully enthusiastic over a project. So impressed. LOL! Mrs. Dirt Perfect keep your eyes on him. He's liable to slip out the back door to one of his projects. Bawahahaha! Drive that bus gurl! Good job guys!
As long as it's a camper bus, you should add a trailer hitch, hitch a flatbed trailer to it, and load an everyday car in it, so that you can leave the bus parked like people do with trailers at campgrounds.
Does Jenna need an air brake qualification to drive that thing? Glad to see you are going to paint it. No matter what you do, it ‘s still going to look like a school bus.
Nice! You look like a natural bus driver.
Glad you now have your camper rig ready for adventure! Love the colors.
Congratulations on getting your bus. Enjoy.

As long as it's a camper bus, you should add a trailer hitch, hitch a flatbed trailer to it, and load an everyday car in it, so that you can leave the bus parked like people do with trailers at campgrounds.
Awesome!!!!!
You did good looks like you had fun!!
Does Jenna need an air brake qualification to drive that thing? Glad to see you are going to paint it. No matter what you do, it ‘s still going to look like a school bus.
