I’m trying to better understand extractor pebble right now, and I would appreciate if you answered these questions: 1. Why do you use pebble? 2. Why not use an all rounder like Looey or Tisha? 3. Does your extraction speed slow down the team? 4. Do you use your ability to your advantage?
I'd like to answer these as someone who has a friend that extracts with pebble 1. Some people want to play as all toons but don't want to adapt to a certain role 2. There's not many all rounders in the game and no one likes playing as the same toons all over again 3. It only slows down the team if you're not giving machines to extractors, otherwise, not really since Pebble can still contribute while their teammates are absent 4. Some people do, some people don't. Extractor pebbles sometimes uses their bark if someone is really in danger, in the end it all depends on how the player plays the game, not the toons and trinkets they choose to play as
@@PrinnyCG those are some pretty good points, but I would like to add a bit on to some of them: 1. Nothing much to add 2. You could also switch between extractor and distractor (glisten, teagan, Astro, Tisha, Finn, etc can all extract pretty well while having decent speed) 3. In my experience, extractor pebbles are usually really strict with the fact that they’re extracting, and don’t give up machines to anybody 4. Nothing I can think of right now, I’ll edit if I think of smth It’s also somewhat noteworthy that in my experience teams work best when toons use their best stat to their advantage (instead of pebble extracting and Shelly distracting, etc). For example, in a run where there was me (astro), sprout, and pebble, sprout was a part-time extractor and supporter, I was the main extractor (sometimes supporting but rarely), and pebble was distracting, and we made it to floor 17 (I made it to 18 because they died at 7/8 machines) However, in a run where there was 2 extractor pebbles, they lasted an amazing amount of 3 floors before dying from unknown reasons. This also varies a lot with player skill, but my point still stands: Toons work best when using their best stat to their advantage Even if don’t encourage extractor pebble, I still highly encourage using veemote, even if you’re a distractor. It helps the team progress just that little bit faster, and you can still extract or distract.

There shouldn't be a reason to force players to play certain Toons over certain Toons. Again, this game depends more on your intelligence and street smarts rather than the Toons/playstyle you choose to abide with. 3. Then that's what the players choose to do. Extractor pebbles only slow down the game IF the player playing as that playstyle isn't choosing to be wise. Again, intelligence > toons and playstyles. While I agree that Toons work best when they're using their stats to their advantage; there can be times where players WORK best when they're using their intelligence and gameplay range to their advantage. An example? Someone can make it to very high floors extracting as a high movement speed Toon, but if they were distracting, they'd die very early if they don't know what they're doing. If they're smarter playing as an extractor Pebble, let them. If they're smarter playing as a distractor, let them.

When i was playing a extractor peb i met a nice team that helps me get to floor 20 with a goob and 2 rodgers and a scraps and a tisha(died) to help me conplete pebble mastery.
I feel like most ppl don’t know that pebble is a decent extractor because his skill check makes the extraction go faster even without extraction trinkets. I don't get mad about Pebbles or Goobs not distracting, but the fact that once I was Glisten with Magnifying Glass and a Goob With Veemote and Dog Plush decides to extract a machine in my face instead of letting me do it when I have 3 more stars on extraction speed and also magnifying glass traumatized me. I don't care about you not distractting with a distractor, BUT IF I HAVE 5 STARS OF EXTRACTION LET ME EXTRACT WTH. I always let someone extract my machine if they have higher extraction than me because it's just faster, it's teamwork, but people play very selfishly tbh. He didn't even have skill check trinkets 😭
As long as a distractor toon says they are going to extract, I’m fine with them doing it. I hope you said you were extracting. Cuz no offense if you play as a distractor toon people are going to expect you to distract. So say that you aren’t distracting as a courtesy. Cuz I’ve had experiences where someone doesn’t say it. Meaning we don’t have a distractor. I’m able to survive without having one but having one can really speed up gameplay.

If you have the right trinkets as pebble, you're only THREE SECONDS SLOWER than vee at completing a machine. Hope this helps

As long as a distractor toon says they are going to extract, I’m fine with them doing it. I hope you said you were extracting. Cuz no offense if you play as a distractor toon people are going to expect you to distract. So say that you aren’t distracting as a courtesy. Cuz I’ve had experiences where someone doesn’t say it. Meaning we don’t have a distractor. I’m able to survive without having one but having one can really speed up gameplay.
