@@ThePsychedelicCinema yeah, without a doubt. There's an audience recording of the show and you can hear the differences. Anthony was definitely off key plenty of times, but nothing out of the ordinary. He made a minor mistake during Scar Tissue and it was fixed in the DVD.
Production companies do it all the time on DVD performances like these though. It's nothing crazy.. The Chorzow performance was treated the same way. And a live TV performance of Parallel Universe too. Off key singing and lyric mistakes. If you compare 'Havana Affair' from Chorzow between the TVN version that was aired on TV and the Full Show version, you'll see they cut the performance in half, right after the first chorus.

Frusciante very rarely plays the same solo twice when live. As for the beginning, I assume it's improv. The guy's that good! I wish I had seen him live with the Peppers.
I dont think the begginig is improv maybe the solos but i doubt he did this without any forethought because they had to film it for the dvd
