Join us for the inaugural Warrior Field Day! This 1 day event is for any Veteran or Active Duty person who's farming now or looking to farm in the future. Dependents are welcome to attend too. Event is on location at J & L Green Farm and led by USMC Veteran and farmer, Jordan Green. Jordan and his wife Laura, co-founded J & L Green Farm in 2009 upon leaving active duty and it has been their full time occupation since.
SPECIAL GUEST: USMC Veteran Rob Jones will lead a discussion on finding mission and overcoming obstacles in your path. Rob overcame a double leg amputation IED blast in Afghanistan to go on and compete in the Paralympics and complete 31 marathons in 31 days. He and his wife have also started a direct to retail farm. Hey Jordan, hopefully you will have this event next year. I'm a former army grunt and have been looking for the next mission for 10 years. I watched your videos with Justin rhodes and some of your others and can tell our minds work similar. Big fan of streamlining and keeping it simple stupid. Thanks for sharing your mistakes and figuring out what works and what doesnt

I'd love to attend, but I cannot handle that physically, and after getting my 5.5 acres going with my Red Wattles here in Ohio, It just isn't in my budget. My sons help me with our small hog farm. We run ours from an 1880's barn into a pasture. I have heritage breed Red Wattles.
