I think the big factor Adrian is the economy is doing well unlike in the US and many counteries in the EU. There was a massive give away budget in October, increases in public service pay and 14 billion coming from the Apple case. In ways FF & FG should have done better. They got nearly the lowest % vote in their history. For nearly 70 years , Fianna Fail got over 40% of the vote in every election. This time they only got 21%
What a disappointment! I live abroad and I had to leave over challenging corruption there. I live outside the system as much as possible because it's an absolute disgrace.
