When I was watching this I thought they would move, but my sister pointed out that Bingo grew up with Lila in "Daddy Dropoff", and I popped off SO hard.
i was on the fence about that. figured: they may grow up but with technology advancing, itd be easier to keep in touch. and maybe theyd just move but eventually come back to a similar school. catching up with an old friend. still, that's a clever way to think about it. kudos

This episode was a masterpiece, a full-length MASTERPIECE and I think we can all agree our tissue boxes ran out immediately. Now rewatching the special I can't help but notice some people are... not satisfied, while that's completely acceptable that made me reflect on something that is currently happening to our community. People want to project themselves into the show. It's no wonder those episodes that got exploration towards a deeper intended message are the most efficiently received; because it's relatable, because it's realistic, because it's hard to digest... but mostly, because they feel seen. The sentiment of 'being seen' is gratifying, to finally have a show that broke the delimited barriers all through, to grant the desired desparity being contented by how SEEN this show has made us feel. But... there's always a limit and I think a large percentage of the fandom are reaching it; "a happy ending is unrealistic and convenient" "life doesn't work that way" "so much foreshadowing for nothing"... This critiques are quite reasonable and I respect them fully, but there's something people tend to forget after the feeling of relating... This ain't your lives I know it would have been interesting to show a darker-side of the coin, to fully experience this characters being completely wretched, for them to truly experience tragedy... but that's not what the show wants to convey. I've seen the 'I Love You, You Hate Me' documentary and that made me reflect and compare the situation to the current actuality; Bluey started being an average show for children, another puddle on a continuous pond... that is until the show exhibited freshness... innovation and eventually UNIQUENESS. But people wanted more, and that's when they start to project themselves on the screen; they want to enclose with something relatable to their experiences, they want to discover an authentic portray of family life... and when it's passing the line, they want to uncover THEIR LIVES Happy endings have gone unpopular by how the world truly operates, how sometimes predicaments are intractable, how life can be pitiful... and they want to project THAT on their screens, I get it, I'm not the exception. Yet again, they have to understand something: THAT'S ONLY A PATH; life can work on unpredictable ways. Sometimes life can be a crippling mess, sometimes it's not Sometimes life can suck, sometimes not Sometimes life can be pitiful, sometimes it can be plentiful Sometimes life gives you surprises, sometimes it takes away your hope. That's how life is, unpredictable... maybe that wasn't the path some people wanted... maybe they wanted to perceive the bleakest path of the story; but sometimes it's just not the path they wanted to follow, and that's ok... Like Chilli once said "the world is a magical place" and it's the viewers job to grant our own individual perception to that message.
Calypso is a very beautiful character with a beautiful voice, Megan Washington does a good job! She even sings Lazarus Drug near the end, which may be viral because of the special.
I'm a blind person. I had to think about this for a week, but, I've come to the conclusion that The Sign is one of my favourite pieces of media. No, not just TV, any, media, in any, format. On first watch, I laughed my head off throughout the episode, and absolutely bawled my eyes out at the end for a good five minutes. So much so, I legit couldn't speak. I was trying to write a message on Pugly's Discord and couldn't legit type properly for a good minute. When I went out my study and my family asked if I was OK, all I could say was, wow, several times. I was legit blown away. I'm not ashamed to say I'm on my tenth watch.
I never expected a Bluey episode to really move me, compared to this one. It really choked me up, especially seeing the empty house. Made me think "wow.. it's really over", and then seeing the happy ending.. I had the same tears of joy as they did. Congratulations, Ludo Studios. You created a masterpiece.

The Sign resonated with me more than I ever imagined. Through my childhood, I moved around Australia a lot. My family and I moved 3 times over the years. With WA being the place we stayed the longest and the place where I have the largest amount of childhood memories. But I've always tried to be optimistic about the the future, because although we don't know what the future holds, there will always be something that will always be something that makes it all worthwhile.
Honestly, I cried while watching too. I know how Bluey feels when she’s moving. When Frisky and Uncle Rad were arguing, I could tell it was genuine arguing, and when the girls said “What?!” Frisky said the wedding was off, I thought “What?!” too. “This thing has been planned for a while why is it ending?” I thought too, but that’s just a part of life. Sometimes well planned things can get cancelled for no apparent reason. The switch between the worst and best days of Blueys life also represent life. The wedding scene was amazing. Many things happen. Blueys Grandpa came back, and Chilis sister is pregnant. This episode is truly amazing. When they bought a different house, I wasn’t expecting that at the beginning. The song was amazing. When I tell you, by the end of this, I was sobbing, I’m not lying.

I was 13 when my family moved from Illinois to Texas. At the time I was excited. A new fun place with new possibilities and adventures. However after the move I became severely depressed. The happiness had disappeared and I felt so alone and sad. We had no family, no friends, no neighbors, etc. We left everything we knew, everyone I knew and loved to a place only my dad wanted to be. I'm 21 now and actually in Illinois right now visiting family because my brothers fiance invited me to her bridal shower. It still hurts so much years later having to leave my family after visiting. I know I'm an adult and can decide to move back to Illinois, but if I were I'd leave the job I love, my parents, and my boyfriends parents behind. Thankfully my boyfriend would come with me if I wanted to move, I just wish that if we had kids, they wouldn't miss out on being with their grandparents. I wish we never moved. My dad has said if we stayed in Illinois, the house would've been paid off in 5 years. Sometimes I think about how my life would be if we didn't move. I wouldn't have missed my cousins graduations, birthdays, holidays, celebrations, spending time with family, etc. I genuinely wish we never moved. If I knew what I knew now, I would've begged to stay. My dad was the driving force for the move. I wish I begged to stay. We weren't moving because of financial struggles, family tension or work related issues. My dad solely just wanted to move to Texas
Bluey The Sign means so much to me. For different reasons than others might have. I watched it the day after, because the day before I was busy. On the 15th I got the results of my college program application, I had been rejected from my first choice program. This wrecked me. On that evening I finally watched Bluey The Sign. It was an amazing experience, the powerful emotional storytelling just wow. The main lesson from the episode really hit home for me. Everything will happen how it’s supposed to, and all will find a way of working out. It may sound stupid but Bluey The Sign really helped me deal with this rejection.
I liked the end but I can see where people didn't like it. Change in cartoons and media is seen as being bad and terrible, but its not always like that. Yes it can be difficult to adapt to anew place, you don't know anyone and its different. But you can see and turn those changes into positives. Make new friends, discover new things and still be able to visit your old home and friends. Hilda is a good example of this, she's sad to leave but sees the effects of how her and her mom staying in the woods impacted the dwarfs, and their house being destroyed. I know change can seem bad and sometimes it is, but its not always the case.
People who complain about the ending "not being realistic" are funny because yeah how dare a CARTOON ABOUT TALKING DOGS be "unrealistic." Its 2024,people need to stop using "unrealistic" as a criticism for cartoons.
I know you didn't mean to make this so personal for me, but when you said "everyone and their grandma," that's so true. I started watching Bluey when I was on a trip to my gramma's house, I introduced her to it, and we've both shared our thoughts on it many times and watched it together. She let me earn money doing her chores to add to my Bluey collection, she got me a mini Bluey plush so my Bluey plush could have her own, she gave me my own Bob Bilby for Valentine's day, we even saw Ghostbasket together for both our first times. Needless to say, we're still talking about The Sign. It gave us so much to consider, and we can't wait for the season finale. Another thing to note is that our family moved away from hers when I was younger, and ever since then, I've always wanted to go back. This episode helped me to make peace with that. Thank you, Bluey. The sign was truly a beautiful episode. I hadn’t cried as hard as I did since pops sacrifice in the regular show finale. I believe there will be a season four as there are many story lines and concepts that can still happen. To brandy having her baby, figuring out what grandpa Bob has been doing in India, maybe even see unicourse meet Janet and Rita, maybe the girls have bandit and chilli play horsey wedding which causes the couple to have memories of their actual wedding day. Trixie definitely needs her own episode, and maybe (if one hasn’t come out by season 4) have the show lead in to a Bluey movie.

This really is the perfect Bluey episode (so far). Sleepytime is still my favorite, as it has been since I first saw it. But I'd say it's in my top five. God, the ending is beautiful.

I found this episode very relatable because moving has always been a part of my life. When I was little, my uncle got a job in another state, so his family had to move. I remember my mom screaming and crying to my dad in the car about it. My family moved constantly throughout my childhood because we were poor, and Im currently in my 6th place I've ever lived. It's funny that we've ended up in the same state my uncle moved to. Because I moved so much, I never made any lifelong friendships and was very lonely (still am). I think the connections you make are more important than any job, so im very against moving. Bandit only chose to cherish what's actually important to him because of a happy accident. I want to be better than that.
I relate to this ep so much ever snice i moved to another place i haven't got to meet my old friend or cousin much at all plus i feel so alone from time to time but i still got my auntie and grandma

I was 13 when my family moved from Illinois to Texas. At the time I was excited. A new fun place with new possibilities and adventures. However after the move I became severely depressed. The happiness had disappeared and I felt so alone and sad. We had no family, no friends, no neighbors, etc. We left everything we knew, everyone I knew and loved to a place only my dad wanted to be. I'm 21 now and actually in Illinois right now visiting family because my brothers fiance invited me to her bridal shower. It still hurts so much years later having to leave my family after visiting. I know I'm an adult and can decide to move back to Illinois, but if I were I'd leave the job I love, my parents, and my boyfriends parents behind. Thankfully my boyfriend would come with me if I wanted to move, I just wish that if we had kids, they wouldn't miss out on being with their grandparents. I wish we never moved. My dad has said if we stayed in Illinois, the house would've been paid off in 5 years. Sometimes I think about how my life would be if we didn't move. I wouldn't have missed my cousins graduations, birthdays, holidays, celebrations, spending time with family, etc. I genuinely wish we never moved. If I knew what I knew now, I would've begged to stay. My dad was the driving force for the move. I wish I begged to stay. We weren't moving because of financial struggles, family tension or work related issues. My dad solely just wanted to move to Texas
Bluey The Sign means so much to me. For different reasons than others might have. I watched it the day after, because the day before I was busy. On the 15th I got the results of my college program application, I had been rejected from my first choice program. This wrecked me. On that evening I finally watched Bluey The Sign. It was an amazing experience, the powerful emotional storytelling just wow. The main lesson from the episode really hit home for me. Everything will happen how it’s supposed to, and all will find a way of working out.
It may sound stupid but Bluey The Sign really helped me deal with this rejection.

I liked the end but I can see where people didn't like it. Change in cartoons and media is seen as being bad and terrible, but its not always like that. Yes it can be difficult to adapt to anew place, you don't know anyone and its different. But you can see and turn those changes into positives. Make new friends, discover new things and still be able to visit your old home and friends. Hilda is a good example of this, she's sad to leave but sees the effects of how her and her mom staying in the woods impacted the dwarfs, and their house being destroyed. I know change can seem bad and sometimes it is, but its not always the case.
People who complain about the ending "not being realistic" are funny because yeah how dare a CARTOON ABOUT TALKING DOGS be "unrealistic." Its 2024,people need to stop using "unrealistic" as a criticism for cartoons.

I know you didn't mean to make this so personal for me, but when you said "everyone and their grandma," that's so true. I started watching Bluey when I was on a trip to my gramma's house, I introduced her to it, and we've both shared our thoughts on it many times and watched it together. She let me earn money doing her chores to add to my Bluey collection, she got me a mini Bluey plush so my Bluey plush could have her own, she gave me my own Bob Bilby for Valentine's day, we even saw Ghostbasket together for both our first times. Needless to say, we're still talking about The Sign. It gave us so much to consider, and we can't wait for the season finale.
Another thing to note is that our family moved away from hers when I was younger, and ever since then, I've always wanted to go back. This episode helped me to make peace with that. Thank you, Bluey. Until we meet again. 🧡💙🧡💙

Bluey is a masterpiece
The sign was truly a beautiful episode. I hadn’t cried as hard as I did since pops sacrifice in the regular show finale. I believe there will be a season four as there are many story lines and concepts that can still happen. To brandy having her baby, figuring out what grandpa Bob has been doing in India, maybe even see unicourse meet Janet and Rita, maybe the girls have bandit and chilli play horsey wedding which causes the couple to have memories of their actual wedding day. Trixie definitely needs her own episode, and maybe (if one hasn’t come out by season 4) have the show lead in to a Bluey movie.

This really is the perfect Bluey episode (so far). Sleepytime is still my favorite, as it has been since I first saw it. But I'd say it's in my top five. God, the ending is beautiful.

I found this episode very relatable because moving has always been a part of my life. When I was little, my uncle got a job in another state, so his family had to move. I remember my mom screaming and crying to my dad in the car about it.
My family moved constantly throughout my childhood because we were poor, and Im currently in my 6th place I've ever lived. It's funny that we've ended up in the same state my uncle moved to. Because I moved so much, I never made any lifelong friendships and was very lonely (still am).
I think the connections you make are more important than any job, so im very against moving.
Bandit only chose to cherish what's actually important to him because of a happy accident. I want to be better than that.
