Simple you have to measure 800cm, 4200cm and 1220 cm using an instrument...
Now you are asked that what will be the greatest possible length amongst the given options with the help of which you can measure these 3 lengths?
Obviously 20 m and 10 m is greater than 8m ( 800cm) so these options are neglected .
With 25 cm..you can measure 8m (800 cm) because 800/25 is not whole number
But with 20 cm..you can measure 8m ( 800cm as 800/20 is 40) and with 20 cm you can measure 1220 cm as well as 420 cm..that's why right answer is 20 cm

Yes..in question 74 we actually have two triangles..
And we know that sum of angles of triangles are 180 degree..here angle z equals 50..and angle w is 90 degree as it is right angle..which means that t is 40 degree
Similarly for the other triangle..y is 42 degree..w is 90 degree..
As w+y+s =180 so s is 48 degree
Now that t is 40 degree and s is 48 degree..so equations which is correct is s=88-t
Is it clear now?
