I try not to comment too often but I absolutely agree that the espada y daga concept is the most advanced because it requires the coordinated usage of two weapons that can differ greatly from each other. I should also make an observation that I've never heard anyone express before: at night time, espada y daga can be very effective especially if the daga's blade is painted black. The chances are high that an attacker will concentrate attention on the longer, more visible weapon, completely unaware of the second, deadlier weapon.
