Many of you know how much we delight in all the wildlife that is here as a direct result of the way we farm.
We went to great lengths to eradicate the honey suckle on our creek naturally. we still use the livestock to maintain pressure and condition on anything that grows. The result is open vegetated creek banks that have little to no erosion and healthy water. our creek is home to bass, bluegill snakes amphibians and the typical minnows.
This blue heron and one other frequently farm almost daily. Just 5 short years ago, this was nothing but an eroded soybean field with overgrown edges.
