Personally as geeky guitar coolness goes, him turning up to the Baked Potato to sit in with a friend, parking his car outside and walking in with an original Flying V and a Dumble was even better. That’s carrying over $1 million of gear in two hands! 😅 Most important thing is, as you say, it sounds phenomenal
Half million is likely lean . Some of the vintage guitars are likely worth that much alone, in the collector realm ,and the back line…. I think it’s awesome that as a musician, Joe plays his collection of instruments, amps and accessories in live gigs. And at a stellar level, of professionalism I might add.
You do know why he uses the plexiglass right? If not I'll tell you. He plays so turned up aka LOUD if he didn't use the panels, the first 5 rows would literally suffer potential hearing damage. It protects the up close fans really well. It sends the sound waves out and straight up as opposed to straight out. Huge huge difference. If he didn't use them, it would be akin to going to a Grateful Dead concert back in the day. You probably already knew all this, so this is for anyone who wonders why he uses them.
He’s reached the Coltrane Zone. Fantastic.
Best ever .
most civilians aren't aware there's at least half a million worth of guitar gear on up there
Dumbles Galour
Galore
Love that Tele sound

Joe is losing his hair!
Yeah, and getting better with age every single year. Who needs hair when you can play and sing like JB??? LOL
