Ah man I miss ACEN! My first one was in 2003! Crazy to think that was 20 years ago! Best memories ever! I miss walking around the DESCC! I haven't been since 2014! Thanks for reminding me of the good ol days!

I swear cons are always great after a good 1-2 year hiatus. I was a bit burnt out on them back in 2019-ish. Took a couple covid years off to focus on graduating college and the con magic is back in my eyes, and i can actually afford a lot more things now

We'll have to go eventually. We just went to our local anime con called Naka-con. It was always fun, but nothing beats traveling and being new places. The hotel always confuses because it looks a similar layout to Dragon con in Atlanta. With the double wide steps and dual escalators. and the roundabout.
Haha it’s way smaller than Dragoncon! Also I am very very highly considering Naka-con for next year! Never been before

I also haven't been to ACen in years, partly because of the crowd and lines that just got completely out of hand. Has that gotten any better since you were there or is it worse still?

We did day zero this year. There was a lot of people there on day zero. Pretty cool.
Acen should be a 4 day con at this point.
