I was at the TT 2004 when Chris won the 125. Sitting in the trees above Tynwald he was faster than anyone else through there all week long.
Top one that, remember how good chris palmer was. My mate raced him in the British 125cc championship, Richard Parrott, an beat him a few times. Good class in them days.
Dom, top class podium we were cheering at the creg, an laughed lots when you got interviewed. 👍

That was a great one. I'm probably about the same age as Piggy and remember the Palmer era like he does. And don't forget that the Scarborough he's talking about is like night and day compared to the current Scarborough. No disrespect to anyone racing today - you can only race the competition that's there - but Scarborough in Palmer's day was British championship standard with full grids of the best UK riders. You wouldn't even get an entry unless you were a seriously good national class rider, it wasn't for club riders.
