There has been a lot going on with my career this past month - I officially joined Temperance as their lead singer, and have continued to be Twilight Force's live backing vocalist throughout this festival season. This song is such a marathon... Whenever I feel like my voice is in good condition, I sing this and am swiftly reminded that my diaphragm isn't gonna magically get stronger.
Haha it really is nuts. I attempted it at karaoke and realized how absolutely awful it was to do with all the layers and no place to breathe 😂. I truly understand why they don't do it live.

WOAH!!! What an AMAZING cover Kristin! One of my all time FAVORITE Sonata Arctica songs, done with flair, passion, panache, and dare I say, PERFECTION!!! I was hoping someone would try and cover this iconic song eventually, but knowing just how challenging it really is. You just took this song, slapped it around, called it your bitch, and KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!! Now, maybe you'll try some other classic Sonata Arctica songs? MAYBE ONE DAY!!!!!

This cover is absolutely out of this world! But it puts things into perspective, how someone as talented as Kristin looks like she has to put in some effort, meanwhile Tony Kakko looks like he does effortlessly! That man is a god damn legend, and this cover is up there with him!

Honestly, as a vocal artist, this requires insane transition and techniques, and yet you handle it almost easefully. Not an easy feature, since it is rarely done LIVE. VERY well done there, beautiful one!

It feels way too long and very awkward for me during long solo sections. I usually don't like when others do headbanging during these sections, so that's why I do it 😊
