It’s okay, I have seen countless reactions to this movie and I don’t think there has been even one time where I haven’t shed a tear. There has only been like one video where the reactor didn’t cry, so the cry-ratio is very high lol. You guys should react to LiSA performing the ending song for the movie in First Take. It’s so insanely good.

I saw this movie in the cinema, and it smacked everyone in the face like a truck. Incredible animation, and such a huge emotional impact! 😢
The amount of people that walked out of the theater in tears when this was in cinema was outrageous (me included) 😂

When Tanjiro was put into the nightmare where his family blamed him for their deaths he didnt have to commit suicide to wake up, the anger and disbelief alone was enough to wake him up.
Ive seen so many reactions of the movie and the movie itself 3 times. I never noticed this, thank you.

Some interesting things to notice:
The first scene of the movie is happening in the future (right after the events of the fight in the mugen train). The leader of the demon slayers and his wife were visiting Rengoku's grave. But obviously at the time you're not supposed to notice this and is only revealed after we once again saw who's grave he was in front of.
Another interesting detail is that despite is that despite the fact that the dream demon is supposed to show you in a dream your most desired reality. However, in Rengoku's dream his father was still an alcoholic and mean to him. This is because Rengoku himself is a really nice person and accepts people with all and their flaws.
This movie broke records even during the pandemic and it's truly an amazing movie.
The events of S2 episode 1 (the episode dedicated to Rengoku) hit way harder with the context of the movie. That's why most people watch it after it. He's an awesome character.
I'm really looking forward to see you react to S2. I know you'll love it.
True. I think it was released specifically in the order it was, movie, then episode 1 of season 2, for the better experience. I always eye roll when I see people comment to watch the episode first. Can't help but feel they are trolling intentionally to ruin the experience. 🤷♂️

A lot of people downplay Rengoku's strength and ability because Akaza was toying with him for most of the fight. But with his last burst of strength before death, Rengoku was legitimately overpowering Akaza. Akaza could have killed him much quicker if he wanted to, but he was 100% terrified that Rengoku was going to be able to hold him there until the sun rose.
It's an extremely impressive feat given how strong Akaza is, and I wish people gave Rengoku more credit for it.
Watching this in theaters was an amazing experience and that ending to the movie you could hear everyone sniffling and sobbing the entire time. Such an incredible reaction from you both and can’t wait for season 2 and 3 your going to enjoy those!

Even if you want to set emotions aside and tell yourself, "I will be the crow that just watches everything from above," if you have a heart, you still end up shedding rivers of tears in the end. Thank you, girls (Haylo & Kiss), for allowing me to experience once again the amazing (and at the same time sad) ride offered by the Mugen Train Movie. 😭😭🥰🥰

Fans have been hating Akaza for killing Rengoku. Don't get me wrong, I love Rengoku a lot, but I also can't hate Akaza. He is a demon, no doubt, but there is something about him that makes him a bit more admirable than other demons we have met. Maybe the way he was praising and simping over Rengoku the whole fight lol. It's kinda cute 😂

I have watched reactions videos to this movie at least like 50 times or more and I swear TO THIS DAY those last 15minutes ALWAYS hit. They did this arc soooo right. Rengoku what a marvelous character. This series is gold 🔥
Yall are in for one hell of another train wreck of emotions for season 2 Entertainment District. This is literally one of my favorite anime, in my top 3. The writing is so good that it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time! Love to see people's reactions to these scenes because it makes me feel like I'm watching it for the first time again.

As i have heard it in comment sections, one of my favorite little details is Rengoku saying "Umai" or "Delicious" after every bite, this is apparently a samurai tradition where they savor every bite knowing it could be their last. thus giving us our earliest death flag for the character as well as an interesting look into the type of person Rengoku is.
I think kamikazes used to do that in WWII too

Watched this in theaters with my gf at the time. She had to pull away her hand cause I was squeezing it so hard lmao so many quiet sniffles and quiet crying in the dark from all around the theater lol everytime I watch this I fight back tears

Mugen Train was how I got introduced to demon slayer. My buddy was watching it when I went to chill with him. Thought Rengoku was so dope. Went home after & binged most of season 1.

This is the first time I've watched you - and I picked a hell of a reaction vid, this movie definately set my heart ablaze! I hope to see more in the future!
Amane is the women we see with Master Ubuyashiki, she is his wife. Also yes those girls we see with matching hair and leading master by the hand are their daughters...i think they have 4 daughters and one son
in my opinion they made it a Movie for 2 reasons 1. they did it as a Gift to Demon Slayer Fans in being able to watch that Certain Story Arc in one sitting (but the train Movie would be broken up later into 6 episodes 2-7 for season 2 which ties into and leads to the 2nd reason) 2. They wanted to treat the painful Train Arc towards Fans like Ripping off a Band-Aid really fast so that way the pain fans would feel of losing the Flame Hashira would be back to normal when Season 2 would start and where the fans could just watch Season 2 episode 1 then skip Episodes 2-7 and not have to relive the Loss of the Flame Hashira all over again and just wait for Season 2 Episode 8
I don't care what anyone says but the Japanese voice actor for Tanjiro is the greatest I've ever heard. I have never heard anybody put so much emotion into their character like he does.
I didn't think I would cry again to his death since I've seen it already but I balled 😭

This is one of the very few movies that will make me cry regardless of how many times I rewatch it. Even when I know it's coming it's just so heartbreaking.

Kyojuro Rengoku - The MOST LOVED HASHIRA.
What I like most about Rengoku; his mom left everything to him as a child, but he never complained, kept training alone, enduring. But as soon as his mother tells him he made her proud, he just smiles wholeheartedly and moves on, he did what he had to do. fucking kills me everytime 😢
I know I'm probably late and someone else already explained it, but they made the movie before the season 2 started (it aired in theaters in October 2020, while Season 2 started the next year, in October 2021) and they didn't simply split up the movie in a number of episodes they also did some fine tuning and worked on it a bit more, so even if you've seen the movie it feels really good to watch the episodes as well.
If you're interested in when to start Season 2, after watching 2x01 and the movie, you can skip directly to 2x08! Enjoy the season 2!

I actually think akaza looks hella dope. His demon art is literally with his fists. And how he genuinely wants rengoku as a demon to fight because of his strength, he admires rengokus strength. And akazas back story, man, its hard to actually hate him after reading it.
