I must say elder Mother played her role exceptionally. This woman made me despise her, laugh and fear her. This show is so entertaining and addictive I binge watched season 1 & 2 in one night lol. I also grew to like Dykons character, looooool. Ruth got him in her pocket. Idk Y but I like them together.
I didn’t watch any of these shows until about a year ago a video popped up of TianaTells interviewing the cast of The Oval and I’ve been hooked since. Thanks TianaTells for these videos they give me the clarity I sometimes be needing straight from the Actors themselves

I'm curious where is Mother Elder supposed to be from in the show? I'm Jamaican and someone told me that shes supposed to be JA, but her accent isnt Jamaican so I'm not sure that's correct. I love this show and am looking forward to watching how the stories will unfold.
Elder mom was such an annoying character to me..she never trusted Ruth..she loved yo be loved by the highest,made sure she was everything to the highest..anyway love you big mum

Yes, that storyline needs to unravel if that was actually her that got killed. I want to see more of Cynthia, Brian, Malcolm, Lynn. I think they deserve to get more airtime as well.
