As a 70 year old retired musician from Memphis Tennessee, that was blessed to stand on a stage beside some of our local greats such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Whitlock, (Derrick and the Domino's with Eric Clapton) and Mr Rufus Thomas of stax records, and discovered BB king .not much music moves me anymore. You guys took me back to my personal music journey, a 16 year old young teen with a music dream , that saw a beautiful 16 year old blonde , that I thought was way out of my league , in 1975. 5 years later, she would become my wife, and I would be blessed to spend 42 years of marriage with her right by my side through my musical journey until our creator took her home 10 years ago . And as I wipe these tears from my eyes from my own personal perception after reading these lyrics, I have to say,

The 1975 fan here. Heard this on the radio the other day. Usually I listen to other stuff on the radio, but when I stumbled on this, I heard "The 1975" in the song and got interested in listening. Here I am listening to the whole song. Pretty good song with a lot of references! Every now and then I hear About You on the radio

Rare diamond here in my opinion. I grew up on early 2000's pop punk which laid the foundation for my songwriting. I've heard many artists come and go over the last 20 years, but Knox is one brightest lights to shine in all that time. The music industry has changed a lot since then, perhaps ever reducing production costs and a humble approach to collaboration has allowed us to re-ignite the spark we once had in alternative rock. This kind of quality makes me so optimistic about the future of rock and I think it's going to be around for a while.
