- "Something You Got" is a song written and originally released by Chris Kenner in 1961 that was covered by Wilson Pickett, B.B. King and Van Morrison. Bruce's version is inspired by Van Morrison's cover of the song. Them, with Van Morrison on lead vocals, had released a cover of the song in 1966.
