another suggestion for a decent cheat card, Minion of the mighty, costs R, is a 0/1 kobold with menace: Whenever Minion of the Mighty attacks, if you attacked with creatures with total power 6 or greater this combat, you may put a Dragon creature card from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. just fantastic, he has menace making it annoying to block him and even if he dies, he pops out a dragon. for just one red mana that's pretty damn good.
I've been running Jodah Unifier in mine to great effect - I have a ton of legendary dragons in this deck and they all become absolute beasts when he's in play - plus the legendary cascade effect is extra money. For mana ramp, Gwenna and Selvala are staples for me - Gwenna gets to almost always untap when I cast a dragon and gain a counter, while Selvala tends to snag me cards and produce an absolute bucket of mana. Combined with Morophon and a Fist of the Suns and you can basically cast your whole deck in rapid succession. Sakashima is another non-dragon that always makes it into my Ur-Dragon deck - have him copy Miirym or even the Ur-Dragon for maximum hilarity. Why win when you can win more?
Remember people: eminence affects deck building when you’re building your curve. Apply half a heartless, summoning with no drawback while you’re deciding what you want to even put in the deck.
Appreciate the video! Any other suggestions on how to bring out big dragons would be helpful. I normally play commander with 6 sometimes 8 folks and have rarely won! When my dragons start dropping, sometimes I get lucky.
If you have enough ramp something like Genesis Wave is good. I would also maybe prioritise dragons that give your board haste so you can attack with them straight away. If your able to get the dragons down then Sarkhan the Mad’s -4 can just take a player out of the game so you can attack other people.
Thanks for the video. I'd like to create a Ur-Dragon CMD deck for me. I will definetly look into your deck list. I also build an Urza Commander based on your video which works quite well :D But one question: there are a lot of artifacts which can lower the generic mana costs for choosen creature types. I thought about using them to lower the spell cost for teh dragons. I didn't see such artifacts in the video. You don't think they are useful here?
I think as the Ur-Dragon also reduces the cost of colourless those effects aren't as needed in this as much, but you could definitely run Herald's Horn or Urza's Incubator if it was ontop of 8 good bits of ramp that either find or tap for your other colours.
@@deathknightrevan Only exception that I know of are werewolves with daybound/nightbound. If it’s night on your turn they automatically come in on their night side if I remember correctly
@@shadowofdread7018 yes kind of but technically no if it's night time they come in on their dayside and immediately flip to their night. But all flip cards always come in on their default face when they etb.
@@deathknightrevan Almost - in this case, it's a 'put into play effect' which means you always use the front face. If an effect says 'cast or play' then you get to choose

I will include Aether Vial. There are also some other cards to cheat in creatures for moderate mana costs.

How many dragons/creatures would you think needed in a Dragon deck to properly run Lurking Predators???
35 i'd say, i run 35 and 1/3 chance of getting one is usually 2 creatures per round

there r also like 3 creatures who lower cost of specifically dragons
Does Ur-Dragon ability flip dual faced cards? For example I have Esika/Prismatic bridge can I just play the Prismatic Bridge instead of Esika?
Dual face cards always come in as their default face
