The sailor in Oldmeldrum is The Whispering Sailor. Brought too Oldmeldrum in the late 1930s by my great grandad and helpers. Great Grandad was William Glennie Contractors the local lorry carrier. Passed down to Grandad Stanley Glennie his eldest son
@@godswilllaks1530 forgive me but where in the video did you go through banff? banff is around 30 miles further in the bus journey. it is on the moray coast and is a lovely place to visit if you get the chance 👍🏻

I was a bus driver during lockdown in Warwickshire and its the only time I actually enjoyed the job, driving empty roads with zero passengers. It was great.
