The reason why getting the first hit is a good thing in a combo is because they'd get kockback and most likely be in the air, u can go in different directions and start hitting him

Pro tip: if you ever have a diamonds or emeralds you should chest them because if you die your going to end up losing the emeralds and you will end up feeding your enemy which can make your enemy get a really good stuff
My tip in pvp is Imagine that a dude is coming with a better sword or armor than you, build up, shit at him with a bow/arrow more you can and try to get more hits you can, after that drop down and when you're fighting, try going behind him, that's a guaranteed win
Fun fact in another technique to Combo people as if you’re in mobile stretch your screen to the max then jump and fight then you’ll get a pretty clean combo
I used the block build like 3 feet tall blocks or you can just build 5 block tall to jump your enemy in roblox bedwars and one tap hit the enemy and boom that's how you outsmarted your enemy and outplayed your enemy
my fav Technik is to get is let them break your bed then jump off then kill them but dont let your bed break this lets you hit them 2 times first if you spam jump while hitting if low then get high ground then do it again
I was using blocks to my advantage I was solo in duos and I’m not good at pvp I got 18 kill I kept bowing before spleefing them everybody was being toxic and saying if I did not stop they would report me so I stopped and as thought I died because 2v1 is just unfair
