Thank you for your homily, a homily of hope. It is difficult often to practice encouragement and see the world that gives love today. It is easy to have hope living in a secure and comfortable environment; difficult for those with unsurmountable problems; who cannot meet their monthly bond repayments, feed children etc. Quite common in South Africa where I live. And on a different note - I just love the Irish accent. I was educated (in South Africa) by Irish nuns. I listen almost daily to the Irish Dominican podcast, Fr Philip Mulryne re the novices; history of old abbeys and churches, which I greatly enjoy. And now I know why the homely puffin is the Irish Dominican Mascot. 😃 Thank you for a great homily
