  • This is the 200 subscriber special video! Today I will be fixing two 78s, one from mercury and one from Decca. And also listening to a cracked 45 rpm record on the rca Victor label and turns out it sounds quite decent! But for the 78s, the Decca went a little bad but the mercury is a whole lot more better! Anyways thanks for watching and stay tuned!

I am sorry that there’s no audio for the ending as because of dumb copyright. Anyways the song was “I never fall in love again” by Johnnie Ray

Well, it was worth a try! I have quite a few broken ones to practice on, but obviously, the smaller the damage, the more likely the repair will be successful. I agree, your original player is probably the safest to play them on. Thanks 👍 😀

Yeah I agree but I’ll try to find some smaller chipped records to fix that will be easy! And thanks for watching!

Nice! But i rarely fix records. It sounds not so good and you'll risk breaking your needle.
I accidentally broke my adobe hacienda by billy williams not even a day of just getting it a while ago. (Doesn't play like it used to.)

@@digidoridvideos3672 oh no! I also sometimes careless with my 78s like one time when I was taking it out from the sleeve, I was abit tired and I thought it won’t break when I just dropped it on a carpet, but it break but luckily is a record I don’t really y care about. So my advice is just be careful with rare stuff. Yes my needle will get damaged that’s why I use my cheap old stylus to play them. Never on my main record player as the stylus is very expensive! Anyways thanks for watching
