I have the same drafting table. Got it so I could do bigger pictures, not only smaller ones. Stool was a bit uncomfortable, so bought a chair that can be raised or lowered, depending on what bit of the picture I'm on. Currently doing The Fairy House on it.
Your craft space is so organised! Love how it set up so you have everything to hand. I really need to sort out my craft room have bits everywhere! But due to chronic pain I diamond paint on my sofa recliner with a tilted tray and an A2 light board across it. Do have a corner table beside me with all bits and bobs I need.
Hi Rebecca. I have the exact table and you just taught me something with the angle setting. I always reached back to lower the angle of the table. Didn’t realize you can bring it right up to release it. I have been waiting for this video because I have not reached my comfort zone when painting yet. Now I have some ideas to try. Thank you
You are so organized! In every video I marvel at how organized you are. Now I know how you instantly lay your hands on a painting or Paint Gem set after you spin the wheel. I used to think ‘how did she find it so quickly?’ Now I see-it’s all arranged so beautifully! 🎉 Your craft space is just so friendly and cheerful. I bet you love being in there. Perfect sanctuary. Question: is your light pad Velcro-ed down? Or is there a lip on the edge of the drafting table? How does it stay put? Thank you 😊
Yes, I love organising my space and being able to lay my hands on things is easily and in a way that makes sense to me helps. My light pad is resting on a lip on the table. It's a lip that's able to move, but I tighten the screws so it stays as a lip to hold my light pad.
Love your setup it is so organized, I too have a drafting table I,m also very short onmy 4.11" and can't reach the back of table. So I too put my easel on top of the drafting table. It a A3 size. What size is your easel Your are a sweetheart. Love your tips. Thanks
I’ve got this same table - except mine is the black top - and I got it from Amazon. I wish I was half as organized as you are. You mentioned right at the end that you have a little ledge for your tray - could you show that also? I cannot get comfortable diamonds painting when the table is inclined, because I have no way for my tray to be available unless I hold it in my hand, which is a recipe for disaster.
At the end, I meant that if I kept my easel on it and had the table flat, I could use the table for my tray. When it's on an angle, I either use a grip mat, or hold my tray.
I've always found it fascinating to see how everyone works on their projects. Its wonderful to get tips from others, but you always seem to have to refine it to suit your own needs and comfort don't you? Diamond painting is not fun if your back is hurting...lol. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hey Rebecca, I'm looking into getting a HAED project. I'm confused by how the charts are given out. Hard copy or pdf download. Which one is for me to print out? PS, love your work

Thank you for letting us be nosey lol ❤🎉❤
Thanks for sharing, Rebecca 💖💖💖
Great set up! ⚾️
Loved seeing your setup and hearing how you use and revise your space. I also loved the sneak peek of upcoming tray colors lol
I wondered if that would get spotted.
Lovely I do my diamond painting on my foldable table in the bedroom
It is comfortable for me to do diamond painting while sitting up in the bed and working on the foldable as well.

Thank you, it helps that I love organising, so I'm always trying something else if one way doesn't work out.

Glad it was helpful!
I have the same easel as you!

Thank you! I might have to think about a drafting table and easel. It looks like a perfect set up vs using my dining room table😁
Great set up...tfs

Mine is an A3 easel and while my lighted is also A3 it's a bit bigger than the easel which is great when I'm working on a big painting.

So true, I love that this way I can mix it up too. I've now got the two places for work instead of just the couch.
New to your channel. Do you have a video of your setup when you work on the couch ?? Thank you @@addmorezest
