@@chrisphilhower6029 you can put your gear on in the water and let the lifting do to someone else. See it done all the time by people with back or knee problems. Sinus maybe a problem for equalizing. Standard advice is consult your doctor and if he signs off try Discover Scuba. After the pool sessuon the 1st dive is upto 6m (20 feet) and the second to 12m (40 feet) and see how you feel before commiting to a certification
@@Vytaswashere I am on a waiting list for a Snorkel Class. Like the Motorcycle. Started out on a 250cc. Now I have a 1200 Harley. My Shoulder throbs on the long rides. Why I don't have a heavier/Bigger bike. Kyphosis is a Curvature of the Spine. Standing at Attention I have a slight slouch. Got me disqualified for the Navy.

If you can handle a Harley I'm sure you will be able to scuba too
