I'm the old words ending with I if you use just the standard rule to add a/ä you'll actually get the plural. In spoken language one often just lenghtens the ending vowel: mato -> maitoo - instead of maitoa. Whrb I was a kid I recall people saying it was wrong. In the 70s and 80s it was commonly thought that the spoken language is wrong

Hy this video soooo helpful but one thing i did not understand like word (yksi) the word end (si) why not use (yhttä) please explain me i am confuse😢
