The island of Cozumel is our 3rd port of call on our Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Allure of the Seas. We board a ferry and head towards the mainland and take a long bus ride to the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza.

Your video was great and very informative. I was interested in doing the same excursion. Did you have time to do any souvenir shopping while in chichen itza or did you only have time to do the tour and then head back?
Thank you, I appreciate your support. There is time for souvenir shopping. There’s vendors everywhere so you can shop while on the tour. I hope you have a great time!
Do you feel like the trip would be doable for kids?
It can be difficult for the younger ones, especially if it’s a hot, humid day. The commute there and back is long. Have things available to keep their attention. I hope you have a great time!
any restrooms breaks during the driving ?
There were no restroom breaks. I recall our guide saying only if absolutely necessary would they stop. It would take away time from the actual tour.
