I have an 8 yr old red-nose(d) pitbull that I adopted from the pound. I've had him 4-5 yrs. He gets so bored now that all his playmates have moved away. So this had some great ideas! I can't wait to try some new things out w/ my baby boy! Great video & thanks so much!
Some good ideas! I have a German shepherd about 9months old.. my last buddy clyde passed, but I taught him to open the fridge and it backfired!! When I left he would help himself lol I love people that have dogs that actually play n teach them, some don't understand how smart they are. Beautiful puppy btw😊
Such great ideas TY! I also play a game with my dogs where I taught them to get onto a blanket and I drag them around for a ride! Took them a bit to get the hang of it but they think its super fun now and run right onto it expecting a ride lol!

My puppy is still training. So, instead of bringing the ball back, he brings it halfway to me. When I walk a bit close to him, he picks up the ball and zooms off. He likes me to chase him.

I use stainless steel mixing bowls that are small, medium and large that fit into one another. I put treats in the medium and large bowls and then stack/nest all 3 bowls. The doggo needs to remove the 1st bowl to get the treat in the 2nd bowl and so forth. The other thing I do, is lightly line the entire inside of the medium bowl with 1/2-1 spoonful of peanut butter. It takes my doggo about 10 minutes to lick the entire thing. After either play session with metal bowls, he likes to pick them up and carry them off into a different room. 🤣

My 2 year old puppy who acts like she is still 12 weeks old, she loved these games. Late August/early September we are teaching her to swim and I’m teaching her to jump through a hula hoop

I adore my dog so much but as a young teenager in their high school years with a very busy schedule, I can't buy her toys, play with her, and if I can, I never have time so when I do have time this helps me so much with showing my love to her!
You have to make time, even if it's tough. Your animals should always and deserve to be a priority in your daily schedule. Keep trying. You'll learn to balance your time.

I have an Australian terrier, very much like a Yorkshire terrier and always called one. His name is Stanley he is 18 months now but some things he likes is playing hide and seek with me, he likes chasing me and he likes it when I chase him, he loves long walks and doing photo shoots, he likes watching tv programmes like doggy daycare, (any where there are other dogs on the tv) and he also loves being brushed I hope this helps! X

I'm so happy to hear that! No neither one of them have, we have been very fortunate!
We have a very active Border/Poodle and when he chews or digs on something he shouldn't be messing with, either a bit of Dawn liquid (cords) or hot sauce on things that wouldn't get ruined. We also use a fly swatter as a deterrent for barking, jumping or other unwanted behaviors---at first a swat that isn't even felt, but after a little bit, he learned that it was an unwanted behavior and his people were not happy....He is a year now and all we have to do is pick up the fly swatter if we want him to correct a behavior....We found it is a kind and effective way to curb behaviors. Plus, tons of love so he knows we are on his side---and he wants to please us.

These are great! My older dog loved the blanket escape game and it gave her a little workout.
I have to watch her with plastic bottles and take them away from once she breaks the surface because she has demolished bottles in the past and cut her gums. She’s tough!

Kellie, my almost 2 year old miniature poodle, loves fetch with her frisbee and various balls and tug with her bumi. She is a picky eater so using dry food as a reward won’t always work. She is very active and still eats bark mulch and sticks outside and tries the occasional small rock. She chewed up her soft toys so now has mostly Kong and West Paw rubbery toys.
My dog is a Labrador and she loves playing

We have the worse retriever ever! You can throw anything once and he will fetch it, after that he looks at you, as though to say, you fetch it! Love him to bits!

Walks or playing fetch works pretty well for our dog. Lighter exercise, as her joints don't quite like her to run like she wants. Swimming would work as well, I think

A game that I play with my dogs is this one:
First of all, I make sure my dogs are in a place where they don’t see where I hide the treats.
Then, I hide their favorite cookies all around the house, and when I’m done I get them to search them.
But I have to get one out first and after a while I get my other dog out too, to evict fighting.
So fun! I do that with my pups too, they love it! Hide n go seek 😍
I tried throwing a blanket on my dog and she just went to sleep😂😭
