Rachel S. said she had hoped Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Amiee Dayton would provide clinical help for her medically complex 7-year-old daughter Charlotte. Amiee has done that - and so much more. Amiee has calmly and patiently earned Charlotte’s trust.

Rachel’s fragile daughter was a victim of the opioid epidemic, born addicted and sent home with drug addicts while still in withdrawal. She is blind, has a seizure disorder, cerebral palsy (CP) and global developmental delays from head trauma she suffered from being shaken as an infant. Trust must be built for everything - Amiee has met the challenge with her gentleness, patience, fun personality and compassionate care.
“She saw my daughter as the valuable person she is and respected her need to build that trust,” Rachel said. “She didn't give up on her. I truly cannot put into words how much Amiee has impacted my daughter’s life - and our whole family. Charlotte now loves Amiee and they have a very special bond. Charlotte gets excited to see her each shift, lights up and smiles, laughs and even teases Amiee! She was an answer to my prayers!”
