- I decided to play a bit of BF, tried both BF3 and BF4, but settled with BF3. BF was all about vehicle gameplay for me before I started doing stunts, and I kinda always considered BF3 being better in terms of it, because the vehicles are much stronger there. I then realized even stunts are better in BF3 nowadays, because aircraft is, again, much stronger, keeps strafing you all the time, and pretty much on every single server, when in BF4 I've been getting barely any opportunities for shots. Then if you kinda take the same circumstances in BF3 and BF4, hitting shots in BF3 feels MUCH more satisfying, because rockets fly a lot slower, and then the kill credit in the bottom of the screen with its sound is much cooler too.
Now about the TOW stuff. I always tried to shoot these on BF3, but had been having completely little to no results hitting aircraft. And this time I was pretty much in the same state as well, but not until some random game of Bandar where I got like 10 hits in one round, when I realized that the thing can actually be used very reliably. At that point I surely became super invested into practicing it more, and became so surprisingly consistent at it, then hit so many more great shots, I just had to make a video about it! Also I thought that in general the topic of TOWs in BF3 is totally not explored (after 8.5 years of game existence that is!), I don't remember seeing any clips of these almost anywhere. I searched 'bf3 tow' on youtube and only found a bunch of single clips from random people. But if you guys know any examples of BF3 TOW being 'consistently' used by someone, I'd really like to take a look at that! Also if you've tried using TOW in BF3 yourself, I'd like to know your personal thoughts on the thing as well.

Dude. I watched the worlds' largest smile on my face. The nostalgia was somehow really strong, although I have never seen a video like this! Incredibly satisfying to watch and those doubles were INSANE :D
I never got to grips with the BF3 TOW (never really tried, as I found it quite useless) but this has really made me want to give it a go ^^
I really hope to see more of this from you. This has to probably be my favourite Battlefield video of 2020 so far :)

Considering my last BF upload was 3 years ago, I really wanted to use a nostalgic track, but also wanted a 'cool' track considering BF3 TOW montage hasn't been done before, everyone seemed to have been thinking it wasn't worth using, but I wanted to show it was actually potent. So yeah, I found this track perfect, and it also went well with how slow the TOW was.
Awesome that you appreciated the doubles! When you said it was your favorite video of 2020 I thought there was for sure something better, because I don't really find this video all that impressive, but then realized 2020 didn't actually have great released BF videos.

I'm kinda done going for clips right now, I basically went for such montage because it didn't exist before. And I wasn't that interested in hitting other stuff. Been still hitting a lot of satisfying short range RPGs in BF3, because aircaft is really pesky there, but those aren't unique. So yeah.

Glad to see you uploading BF videos again! Never played BF3 but I'm aware tow was dead slow unlike in BF4, you still managed to hit crazy shots. Amazing.
I'm also glad I found something that I can make BF montages from, that isn't incredibly time consuming having to make a lot of attempts, but still unique and impressive. Even tho it won't last for long on the channel.

I honestly didn't even know TOW existed in BF3 lol, since really no one has shown a video about it as you say. So it's def one of a kind video, just like every other vid of yours is! But yeah it seems pretty slow and difficult compared to that of BF4. Idk if it's just me, but I find 1:03 kinda TOW the most difficult, when the target is too close to you lol Other than that, explosions look spectacular in BF3✨ I mean, 0:41 / 3:58 / 4:10 💥 But 2:34 has to be my fav tho, might be the only b2b TOW done in BF3!
Last but not least, I still love this track ever since you showed it to me. When it drops, ohhhhhh, hits right in the feels! So happy to see you use it! :D

Yeah, it's totally crazy how the game existed for 8.5 years and no one made a video about TOWs, considering the game was alive the whole time, and a lot of people have been coming back to it!
About 1:03 shot, hard to tell if it's the most difficult, since you would basically never find yourself in such circumstances for those, it even might have been the only one I myself encountered, but from general understanding I would indeed say they should be pretty difficult. About explosions in BF3, I'd say those are just 'different' from BF4 (yet special) and are a good change if you've been used to BF4 ones, but I'd still say I more prefer them in BF4 :D.
I also tried to find as much as possible BF3 TOWs from other people, from general interest and to see what I am competing with, but indeed haven't seen a double yet.
Yeah, glad to see you appreciating the track a lot. For me the favorite moment of it always was the point of drop progression at 1:28, and favorite part being the rest of the drop from this point.
Yeah the TOW Missile was massive damage and I never knew people used it like this

It is more difficult, because it's like 3 time slower than in BF4, but totally manageable if you give it a shot!
Damn dude this was really cool! The tow in this game was something that I never really learned and this is the first tow montage Ive seen in this game too! Also, I think I remember telling you that I started to not like this track as much the more I listened. Well, I think I really like this track now. It was almost perfect for a video like this too, definitely super fitting.

So happy that you think it fits so much, because I considered and actually EDITED this montage with a lot of other tracks, being ultimately not satisfied with one thing or another. But when Heavy Heart got into my vision, I instantly thought it should top everything I had tried, and then when finished editing, considered it perfect!

Могу согласиться с тобой.Когда сбиваешь технику в бф 4 с птрк,удовольствия не приносит вообще,если сбивать не предоставляет никакой сложности,ну если не беря во внимания ударный верт,который требует так такого скила.А так в бф 3 куда интереснее и приятнее играть на птрк.Он медленный и плавный,что делает его буквально идеальным. Даже думаю стоит бы попробовать "Dumb fire".Блин,представь как бы круто выглядело.Он же еще так медленно летит,запустить бы его и понаблюдать как он попадает прям в цель:D
Да, я пробовал делать dumbfire шоты в БФ3, но пока безуспешно. Особенно то, что ты сказал, как ракета залетает на цель, используя способ, о котором давно стоило рассказать. Работает и в БФ3, и в БФ4. Попробуй запустить TOW, развернуть его на 180 градусов и слезть с него. Увидишь, что с ним происходит :D. Я пробовал делать это ещё 3 года назад когда играл, но чтобы хитануть такое, нужно много удачи.
а что за dumbfire?
Dumbfire значит типа "стрельнул-забыл", в нашем случае это когда для управляемых снарядов типа TOW/TV, ты запускаешь их и без управления ими смотришь как они залетают на цель.

Kinda laid off making music comps for a moment, but I think I'd like to make more, just not sure when. At some point I will check what new music I got and will see what comps I'll be able to figure out from those.

I am Russian... I had it in English, then couldn't join any server, repaired the game and it set it to Russian. Later I swapped it back to English.

Haha, it was exactly my plan to make everyone narrow their eyes from me asking this, considering I like never write to XTRA Discord chat. But I also really wanted to know if there was someone consistently hitting those, because it's crazy there has been no one for 8.5 years of game existence!
And I didn't actually keep it secret for that long, I started shooting TOWs consistently only like two weeks ago, when I also started considering making a montage about them.
@@TheShadowHQ I have always wondered why there was never any bf3 towtages too. At the same time, I have always wondered why no one has tried to replicate bf4 stunts in bf3!! Perhaps that's a venture that you're willing to take? After all, lav bounces are possible in bf3 :D

In fact, while playing recently I wasn't even going for long range RPGs, because those take a lot of attempts before you hit one, and if I do hit, I'm pretty sure I won't be as satisfied because of the luck aspect. I was never really a fan of plain long range shots, I was totally more about the uniqueness aspect of such, but now this idea settled in my even more. BF3 TOW on the other hand was like stars coming together for me. It was a very skilled weapon, at the same time not properly explored by anyone, and I managed to bring my success with it to the consistent level. Right now those three things applied to something would be mandatory for me to keep playing for another BF video on the channel.
And LAV bounce in BF4 is already super hard. But in BF3, considering very slow speed of the TOW, it would bring it to pretty much impossible level.

Wowww so nostalgic :) armored kill was definitely one of the best DLCs for BF3. Very unique for not a lot of people use tows in BF3. Cheers bro you made my day!
Yes! I love Armored Kill maps so much, there are so many vehicles, those maps feel hugely like sandbox for me. Not so much for Armored Shield map, because there are no jets. It's also interesting because Golmud in BF4 is pretty much Bandar Desert, yet I don't enjoy it nearly as much, probably because BF4 in general has completely different vehicle balance.
