It does not rain all the time, we have between 5-7 days each summer with sun :) But we have a quote or a saying in our city "The rain is part of the charm".
I love that quote from the 15 year old! We went to Bergen last June and it only rained 1 of the 4 days we spent there - lovely weather the rest of the time. I got some great video with my drone and of the bus trip from Bergen to Stavanger - it rained on our trip up from Stavanger to Bergen!

You captured most of the key elements of the city in this video - including number of people walking the streets, different ethnicities, general social vibe of the city, especially the well-run bus system and the harbour vibe. Well done - I want to go back!
@@ncard00Not heavy raining. When it rains it's mostly humid like in this video. If you bring a light raincoat or a small umbrella, it's no problem. It rarely rains heavily in the spring/summer. And when the sun is out it's heavenly. Warm and cozy, but fresh and not too hot 😁. In the late fall and winter when days are shorter it's another story. But most outdoor services have light roofing so you can still enjoy the after all rather mild winters in Bergen. I've lived here for 60 years, so I know😊
Bergen used to be my home for a big part of my life…Maybe one day Ill move back…Most of my oldest friends and youngest son live there.I really miss it a lot sometimes.❤😊

If you like Seattle (the most Bergen-like US city), but wish you had 70 more rainy days each year, twice the amount of rainfall, darker, shorter days in winter, frequent wind and wet summers, then Bergen is for you.

Russia, Iceland, Finland, Estonia, and parts of Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, and even some of the mountain parts of Austria and Switzerland, are colder. Also, the south west coast has very mild winters, where some years r not even snowy at all.
