What’s happening in this Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie clip?
Flint’s (Bill Hader), Sam (Anna Faris) and Brent (Andy Samberg) find themselves surrounded by an army of roasted chicken. One of the chicken swallows Brent, while the others keep getting closer to Flint and Sam. At the last second, Flint’s dad Tim (James Caan) manages to email the killcode to Flint, meaning they can now shut the food machine off. At the same time, Brent takes control of the chicken that just swallowed him. With his new chicken body and his new name, “Chicken Brent” saves his two friends, giving them a chance to end this food cataclysm.
What’s the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs about?
Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) lives with his fisherman father Tim (James Caan) and his pet monkey Steve (Neil Patrick Harris) in Swallow Falls, an island in the Atlantic Ocean with an economy focused on sardines. When, one day, the world decides that sardines are unsavory, Swallow Falls’ economy falls and its people are forced to subsist on a diet based almost exclusively on sardines. Flint, who always has dreamt to be a scientist, decides to help the city by inventing a device that will change water into food.
After several failed attempts to plug his machine, Flint loses hopes in his invention. But that’s when a burger rain starts pouring on the city, showing that the experiment worked and attracting the attention of news networks as well as that of Samantha Sparks (Anna Farris), an aspiring weather reporter.
