Woah what an amazing april fools joke, i mean we all know that “British Columbia” doesnt exist
As a British Colombian I can confirm I don’t exist
I've lived in the Vancouver area my whole life and I gotta say, you are probably about as good as I am at pinpointing these areas so quickly. Very impressive!
Smithers, BC should consider a sister city arrangement with Burns, Oregon.
Haha there is already a Burns Lake, BC a couple hours down the road from Smithers
thats.. genius
I have been to British Columbia and am leaving a comment
Great job. I always think I'm pretty good at pinpointing, then I see examples like this & realize I have soooo much work to make up.
Also, yes, I've been to British Columbia.
I've lived in BC most my life, in both Vancouver and Okanagan areas. This was impressive to see from a non resident! FWIW "Kootenay" is typicallly pronounced more like "kootinee."
I once lived extremely close to that Renfrew/William intersection and I ALSO once lived really close to that 227th/Abernathy area in Maple Ridge. Was really exciting to see both those pop up!
as a British Columbian myself I would like to humbly say
BC MENTIONED MOM WAKE UP BC MENTIONED
Why are there so few views? Commenting for the algo here!
2:00 I live in Castlegar and was stoked to see it pop up in this video haha the "Penny" is a woman's name, the banners are of various business owners around town. LOL
My moms name is penny lol we live in Langley
FYI Kootenai/Kootenay is pronounced “kootnee” in the US, idk how it’s pronounced in Canada but have to imagine it’s similar
can confirm, same pronounciation in canad
@@spanzotab Every time I've heard it pronounced (former lifelong BC resident, recently moved to SK) has been "Koot-ih-nee" but Wikipedia has "Kootnee" as the correct pronunciation. I see it's named after the Kutenai first nations and Wiki has the pronunciation of their band name as _either_ Koot-i-nee or Kootnee so maybe that's why
As someone from British Columbia this makes me really happy to see! Hopefully you visit our province again some time.
For the record, Sun Peaks is a ski resort! It's pretty nice.
Nice to see you in my home province in areas I've been to before. The Kootenays is a region in Eastern BC composed of quite a few mountain towns.
Love British Columbia! Spent a weekend in Vancouver which was amazing and also went ziplining near Golden which was beautiful! Would definitely love to see more of the province
Little tip that I've discovered when playing BC in geoguessr: the kootenays/castlegar region in the southeast of the province often has autumn coverage. Could be unreliable but something I've noticed.
Wow! I just beat CG's time by 5 seconds! I was not expecting that to happen... Luckily, I managed to find the info I needed quickly in each round.
The Renfrew round was easy bc Renfrew is a Skytrain station.
Everything else was impressive tho I wouldn't be able to do that lol.
Wow you were in my home town in the first seed! Loved this video.
Still have yet to see a round on the island 😅😔
british columbia!! only canadian province that i actually have memories of lol. i freaking love vancouver, it's such a cool city with great food. my mom actually lived in vancouver for a while, so i inherited a canadian citizenship from her
Cant wait for you to see that manitoba road quality
it's a bit sad the locations were all big cities, I would have loved to see more rural/nature locations specifically in that state
I’ve technically been to BC when I was skiing at Banff. The resort lies on the continental divide, so while most of it is in Alberta, there’s a few sections you can ski into BC before going back into Alberta on the same run
heyyy🐐
I'm no pro, so I'm proud of my 9 min 17 secs on this map. I got that one a while back. I just played a handful more times and just got under 12 mins twice.
Argh! I just had a game where I was at 3:40 after 4 smoking rounds, but then round 5 was a super rural round with no info... So frustrating when that happens...
Yay! I just improved to 8:12, but because of this video more people are playing this map now... So, I'm not even moving up the leaderboard. Altho, I had one round that should have been up to a minute faster since I've been around that area a fair bit.
I live just outside of Castlegar - it’s funny to see people not know what the Kootenays are
you know more BC places than I do and i live here…
the only thing i knew that you didn’t was sun peaks which is a really popular ski resort (and hiking place i think?)
of course, no suprise victoria will never be relevant
Every place is stunningly beautiful out there….
British Columbia, my second favorite BC!
WOOOOOOO BC
I lived in Vancouver for 2 years and its one of my most favorite city ever!
Just was there for a relaxing few days!
great April fools joke :]
cool one (:
