- Released as the fifth single on February 25, 1980 from her debut album "In the Heat of the Night" , this performance captured in 1982 at the New Haven Coliseum.
"We Live for Love" became Benatar's first top-10 entry in any country when it rose to No. 8 in Canada, while also reaching the top 30 in the US, New Zealand and Australia, her first sizable hit in the latter. In France, "We Live for Love" reached the top 40.

I'm sorry to say , but Myron's tempo is all over the place ...I'm a bass player of many years and our band did this song back in the day , and I've got to say it would be difficult to establish the groove in this number the way Myron is excitedly playing this ...no hate or anything here just speaking solely music ... Go Pat !!!!

Pat benatar is and will be the best artist of all time. She represents my entire childhood, adolescence and until today.

To the best of my knowledge, it was originally shot on video which is 480i. Found a clean copy in 480 and running it through Shutter Encoder, DaVinci Resolve Studio and Topaz Video AI upscaling, I came up with this.

And, introducing me to artists I'd not heard of from way back in the day. But Pat has always been a main-stay for me since she debuted in the earrly 80s. Hell Is For Children spoke volumes to me in my traumatic upbringing. I named my cat after her. 😃
