I'm back from a short break. I've been on a family vacation in Thailand for a couple of weeks. Spring is here and I will be back on my regular uploading schedule from now on. In the meantime enjoy this video from a unusual and somewhat crazy day of cycling in Thailand.
What? You're kidding me! Didn't notice that. No, seriously, cycling on the left side is rather easy. It's nowhere as difficult as driving on the left side. Especially if you're like me just following the same road the whole day. The difficult thing is intersections, to remember on which side you're supposed to end up on after you make a turn.
Thanks Mike. As a matter of fact, we've had quite the "heat wave" here the last couple of days. We have had around 20C the last 5 days, which is really unusual for April. So basically all the snow has melted away, which makes me really happy. Finally I can go out on bike tours around here again. I hope to do an overnighter during the coming week. Tesco Lotus are everywhere in Thailand. By far the most popular supermarket chain.
Sure. I know. Been there 7 times, so I've seen my fair share of accidents. The combination of people driving like maniacs, lack of seat belts, and rather bad roads = road casualties. But if you stay off the highways, people tend to drive rather calmly. So there are safe options as a bike tourist.

Thanks! Lot's of new bike touring content coming in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
Nice Mikael. Good views of Thailand, which I will probably never visit, except through your videos. Except they drive on the wrong side of the road!!

Very nice Mikael, a bit warmer than what you've been used to at home! I would never have expected to see a Tesco supermarket in Thailand.

Thailand is somewhere in the Top in the world when it comes to road casualties.
