I wasn't too sure about the paper mix until you added cardstock and matting to the photos. Lovely story of boy's best friend.

Thank you! Normally I would gravitate towards deeper more masculine shades for my boys but the bright green grass and care free fun worked so well with this paper collection.
Very touching. We have a smaller dog that looks very similar, and her name is Luna too. We are always saying that she looks like a miniature border collie. So glad your Luna has a good home with you. Beautiful layout also.

I don't mind single page layouts but this one was definitely working better as a two pager. I am glad you like how it turned out.

You have so many great ideas. I hope I can remember some of them. I never would have thought about embossing the banner. I have to look for the doggie stamp set. Two puppies joined our family last summer. I have so many cute pictures!

Thank you! It was hard to believe she didn't pass the adoption exam, she has been such a great little dog and these two have grown up together over the last ten years having a lot of fun adventures together.
Such a beautiful story to document, thank you for sharing that with us. I so appreciate seeing how you go about the process of deciding which papers and how to position your photos. At first I thought it was going to be too bare on the right side but you brought it altogether so beautifully. Love it!!

Very cute layout! You could have used a tan/kraft coloured mat behind the photos on the right since that colour is in the patterned paper. Happy Friday from 🇨🇦!

@@CraftyConceptswithErin yes, I’m sure they will! It’s funny you posted this layout today. We are getting a puppy tomorrow if everything works out. I’m pretty excited! Our 13 year old dog, Sadie, passed away almost two years ago. I’m finally ready for a new fur baby. Wish us luck!
Erin, I love your videos & layouts but I personally would like to see you do some without white! (Other than the white frame around each photo of course) how about a color cardstock background or even a patterned paper? Just an 💡 from a devotee who is not a big fan of white.

Thank you Deborah, I am glad you like the layout! The marble backdrops are from Amazon. I have several different ones and like to rotate them. They look nice in the videos but they actually help to protect my workspace. The exact marble option I use is currently unavailable but here is a link so you can see it amzn.to/3UTI11s
It turned out good in the end as I looked at the papers & thought, 'how's she going to pull this together, I wonder?' I thought, when you decided to add the paw prints that you were just going to put a track of a puppy walking across the tag which I think would have looked better to be honest. So I am curious as to whether you kept the tag as it is or did you end up going back to alter it?? 😀
I did keep the tag but I am still undecided, 😂 perhaps I will try your suggestion and have a trail of paws rather than all over.
