It’s very real and something we’re trained in the medical field to recognize and deescalate prior to it becoming vasovagal. Man this brings back memories, when I was younger(8 year old) I remember a girl used to get close to me by touching me with her hands and standing next to me trying to rest her head on my shoulders and would also complement me about my outfit. That behavior always repulsed me so much that I even called her out one time for it but now that I'm 21 with no female interaction I crave that feeling and those compliments.
