Her problem was that she did not sing in her natural voice. Instead of emulating the actual singers of the song, she should sing comfortably with her own voice.
i think this was my most memorable audition from that season... i only remember bits and pieces from the auditions. this one just stuck out to me. i remembered haley's, blake's, lakisha, melinda, and this, and sanjaya, phil, yanno, but this is the only oen i remember that didn't make top 24
It's good to see the judges change their minds on this one. She had a beautiful singing voice and once she was made aware of her facial expressions, she made an effort to change. Very well done.
Her voice is definitely unique... I don't know... I had mixed feelings about her voice... I don't think she a bad singer at all... Nowhere near being a bad singer... But I do think that she could benefit from vocal training... I don't know... One thing for sure, she is a raw talent.
