Did the ulanzi grip ever fail on you? Mine fell off and it damaged the lens cover

I’ve used it in extreme conditions. It never fell off. I can agree to the fact that it did not had that tough grip on smooth surface when used with extended stick for insta360.
Other than that, it’s very reliable ✅

Yes it is, I’ve used it couple of times to mount insta360 with selfie stick. Position it in the right way gives best grip and camera angles without having to worry about the camera falling off.

Yes, I used ‘auto’ mode on Insta360 X3. I do use manual settings depending on the requirement and the environment however most of the time, Auto mode works the best in determining the correct requirements.

I’m using the vertical mount on helmet for now as it fits just perfect on my helmet and doesn’t block the view. I’m planing to get a horizontal mount as well to try it out.
It’s not available in India directly.

In that case, best is to use the camera on the helmet and record POV shots, you can also mount it on handle to get some other angles as well.
