Nabers shows how bad these other receivers are. I used to really like Slayton and Wan’dale now I’m second guessing that. And Theo Johnson is not it thus far. Waller hurt us more than we thought it would imo. Nabers has no one else that’s a real threat.
Wandale had a pretty solid game but the drops killed him. Still he’s not a guy who should be getting 14 targets. As for slayton it’s not his fault his qb can’t throw past 25 yards. With that being said 1.4 yards rushing per attempt is on brian dabolls prevent offense that ran on every 1st down in the 1st half. I think we beat seattle but if we continue this prevent offense we'll continue to lose. And like the guy on WFAN said i think Daboll tanking on purpose to get DJ out of there. Which is unacceptable
Garbage refs screwed us from the beginning with calling a facemask on the wrong team and then gifting the Cowboys a touchdown by picking up a holding flag. Giants WRs dropping passes, garbage defense, and we couldn't run the ball or stop the run.
A lot of good points made in these comments. For me what stands out is that DJ is missing on long passes. The season stat is 2 of 16, but even those 2 are iffy. One was Malik against the Browns on the sideline; not a very long pass and likely intercepted or at best incomplete if it was thrown to any other receiver. The other was Malik wide open last night, and that ball was underthrown if you re-watch the tape. We'll win a few more games this year but DJ is way too limited in his throwing for us to go far in 2024.

I'll come back to this comment at the end of the season. DJ is cooked. It's time to move on brother. It's ok to admit it and just because he is in a Giants jersey doesn't mean you need to continue to support this kid. as much as tonight sucks it does sorta feel like we’re a qb away. dj isn’t the guy it’s clear. yea the drops sucked but jones can’t throw the deep ball and showed his lack of ability tonight
You didn’t watch the game did you?
Receivers failed DJ
@@JesseGMan7 homie they literally had to adjust most of the time because of how underhrown they were
Bro. You are delusional. We are so trash
@@milopond both hands were on the ball… sure was there a couple underthrown deep balls? Yes but if it touch your hands or hits your body catch the damn thing. And we averaged like 1 yard per carry. The only good things on our offense this game was Nabers and DJ.
The long ball is concerning. Was it the short rest that affected it ? The velocity of his throws faded late. I can't wait to see your breakdown before pointing fingers. I do want Dabs to start trusting this oline. Setup more of the intermediate routes . Slay and Nabers can eat there all night. Trust the OL. Too many quick hitches and short slants.
Giants are a bad team who cannot find clutch players. We will win just enough games to screw up our draft picks.
Giants are a half decent team but Daniel jones just can’t play anymore. They’re gonna be a 6-7 win team somehow and they will get their qb. Like nobody but the raiders want a qb besides them maybe maybe the jets. Personally cam ward looks good
@@j.r.3945 👍
This was a very winnable game if DJ didn’t underthrow almost all passes beyond 15 yards. Very frustrating to see all the receivers slow down and try to come back to the ball. He is at this point a very inaccurate quarterback. The receivers never get led and half the time in the corner routes, it is thrown below their waist by their Feet. Give me drew lock or Devito I’m done w DJ
If DJ doesn't start connecting on deep throws in the next 2 games the relievers are gonna start complaining especially since everyone knows DJ is gone after this year.
it kind of sucks schoen only got good at drafting this past one after getting real playmakers instead of nice choir boys
3-14, is it April yet?
i think daniel will continue to execute in the short to intermediate but shit dude, without the deep ball he’s the reason we’re capped.
Dj missed two tds on the long passes
@@anouki5257 also why not go for it on the 3 yard line? I’d say because Dabol is scared, but he’s gotta take those chances if he wants to win. Hes playing not to lose.
Our Giants will not beat Dallas until they can equalize or eliminate the QB gap Dallas has. DJ missed on his multiple big play scoring opportunities and Dak hit his. That's the game IMO. Defense in today's NFL can only do so much especially if not creating turnovers. You have to score points!!
Jones deep ball issues is timing. He has to let it rip with anticipation.
DJ can't spell anticipation. Never mind throwing with it.
At this point we need to fire the coach I mean like really running on 1st and second down is only giving Jones 1 pass maybe 2 if we go for it on 4th but the play calling is trash straight trash
Giants need QB upgrade badly. He cannot throw ball down field. Teams can sell out vs run because he can't throw it. Idk if it's his neck or what but he is definitely holding them back
THIS IS all on coach NOballs , he plays not to lose ,, a real head coach like dan campbell would never settle for a f.g. at the 3 yard line ,, campbell strives for the top , and would have called a play that would have the oppportunity to get it in the endzone. , this is coach NOballs loss. in the end ,
How did that work out for Campbell in that playoff game.
@@cooldude7821 thank you for making our point , it's called instilling confidence in your team , the fact that lions didn't score on that play had nothing to do with the call to go for it , that play never got off the ground , having your / daboll's myopic view is a loser's fate , so what if we don't get a td there , we have dallas pinned at their 3 yard line , with 2 minutes left , having confidence in our D to hold them , get the ball back , and work to score before the half anyway , that would have shown both our offense and defense that the coach has confidence in the team , instead daboll's lack of confidence in himself and the team was felt on the field , and seen in the stands , and around the league ,you gain respect by
striving to attain greatness , not by giving up and settling for mediocrity.
@@w.l.graves7228 Can't argue with that.
I can't wait for new QB PLS LET IT BE SOON
Giants are losers.
The Giants were demoralized because of the referees, who loses yards when they have a penalty commit against them?
Wandale is a JV superstar
Brian Burns picked the perfect number 0.
Hi
Last week Daboll said the TE coach Tim Kelly was doing a great job. He must think Giant fans are blind. Our TEs suck. They brought in Manhertz as a great blocker,. he stinks.;
Daniel "NGE" Jones. Not Good Enough
Joe schoen is not the guy. His players are average to below average players. You can’t win with a roster full of below average players.
Malik will be gone after his rookie contract is up
Just like obj and saquon
This organization sucks
The haters don't want to hear it. DJ isn't 100%. You can see in the play calling and his "weak" arm now. Throwing is legs. His acl is not there yet. He can throw the deep ball. The feel, confidence isn't there yet due to a catastrophic knee injury. Bet money it comes back. Write it down.
I'll come back to this comment at the end of the season. DJ is cooked. It's time to move on brother. It's ok to admit it and just because he is in a Giants jersey doesn't mean you need to continue to support this kid. He has a good OL, a number 1 WR, conservative play calling to play to his strengths. And he still can't get the job done. Yes receivers dropped the ball but he had opportunities to get the job done with the deep ball. It's time to move on.
Daniel jones did not score a single touchdown this was not a GOOD or even SOLID game for an NFL quarterback!!
They couldn’t run the ball … that why they lost
banks can't cover man smh
How bout them commanders?
W. Robinson dropped on the way into the end zone, so that would've won the game
He wasn't even close to the end zone.
@@cooldude7821 he was at like the 3
@@rickgoodman6515 I believe he was at around 10-15. But we could be talking about different plays.
@@cooldude7821 we probably are
@@rickgoodman6515 Ok.
Giants just need an RB🤔
Slayton have to go....Slayton is no longer good, they have to let him go
Hold up that’s all you have to say about # 5? He played a decent game what cause of a holding call from rookie, a bum ass inside move for a sack? Your top notch at gameplay analysis, how much you want to bet #5 is a top 5 edge at losing containment .. so I guess we going to discount that 4th and inches.. and fyi it’s the defensive play calling that has our defensive doing what they do not the PLAYERS.. excluding sexy dexy..
Agree and have said it for 3 years #5 is way..way..way overated. Guy looks like a bust to me.
Took us four games to break our new star WR. Now I gotta start worrying about whether or not this dogdoo team will ruin him before his career can take off. Why can't we just have nice things?
What's the common theme of the last 6 years....
I mean he’s getting like infinite targets every game and a lot of them are into major traffic he was getting lit up all game. Anyone who payed attention knew Daniel jones was gonna get him hurt at some point
@@yepdontcarebud Yeah why are we acting like the QB problem is no longer a problem? lol
For what it’s worth, Bobby, I think you spent too much time telling us “DJ is not the QB of the future and not a good QB”…..i think you should have stuck to just talking about this one game. We all know DJ is on a very hot hot seat and we all know he may not be our QB next year….lets just let that play out and stick to just the game you are looking at. That’s my opinion, but I guess if you think Giant fans need to keep hearing that message, well, Trump and Harris think that is the way to do it too. It’s your channel. Thanks for doing this. Later…
DJ has been a functional to average NFL QB the last 3 weeks. What's the excuse now? Gotta be Daboll.
Giants are averaging 15 points a game. You call that average QB play.
Blue it.
Dj sucks throwing deep and their red zone offense is trash
He made the WR's work too hard to compensate, now look at Nabers, it's not sustainable.
Which is crazy, because he used to be an extremely accurate deep passer
@@Travis-q9f5b In your dreams maybe.
Nabers is good but hes not a star
Yeah he is. He's going to be a top 5 WR after his 2nd season
Giants are trash.. like its 3rd and 10 and throw a 2 yard pass. what a joke jones and dabolls play calling
I think DJ neck is shot! He used to be able to throw deep balls and can’t now. Just think he had one too many neck injuries and he was limited to being with
This is the same ol DJ . He sucked at Duke. Sucks in NY.
DJ looks lost with no sense of urgancy. He is not a leader. Our season is over start 2nd 3rd string q.b.I have not worn my jerseys in years.5 field goals in one game that's embarrassing.DJ take you're money and run before fans stop showing up to the game.
At least he can construct basic sentences. Good lord, dude, go back to school
The Giants couldn't run against a high school team.
I don't know wtf we even blame for this loss. They moved the ball, the defense played fine. Jones was fine.....line was fine....We still lost ....it sucks
Yeah but at least Daniel Jones got a touchdown!....oh wait 😑
Shitballs surprise surprise.....womp womp see you guys for the draft and then 2 weeks next season
Once we get a real qb this team will take off
