a 20 minute fight can never be fun! it will be fun for the kabam! money grab! It will only be fun and enjoyable for those who play 24 hours a day and have time to test, test and test! I'll subscribe anyway, you have useful information, thank you
It does take a long time the first time for sure… until recently I had only done the fight 2 times. When SOP week 10 came I had to do it more so I ran act 6 GM twice more to practice and then did SOP GM 6 times! Took a ton of revives but didn’t have to spend units thankfully! Thank you revive farming haha. And thanks! I’m glad you find some of my content useful and I hope to continue to please you :)
@@thegrindmcoc7966 yeah true will have to lol. I haven’t been in yet but I think I’m going to take in Doom, CAIW, Magneto, Corvus and Warlock. All ranked 5 and awakened. Magneto will be useful for inverted controls, CAIW for damage over time 2nd phase and Doom can be good for 1st and last phase. Not sure if this would work. What do you think?
@@Bpacs12 actually yea those are all great champs for all phases. Corvus don’t have damage over time but he hits really hard if you can manage his charges to be active during wounded state but that’s another factor to juggle haha
Okay thanks for sharing and reminder on discord...I have completed this...but still this is very very helpful for other players who are struggling for sop.
got me STRUNG OUT!!!!!! spent about 300 bucks on revives and only have him down to 74 % I'm in too deep to back out now, but I'm really pissed off at the madness of all of these different nodes, but I guess that's why everyone is NOT Thronebreaker
Love the guide. However, as I watched it, I couldn't see anything to support what you said in the beginning - "one of the most fun and enjoyable fights". It looks super frustrating.
Several people have made that comment.. and it was frustrating at first, even someone in summer of Pain and when I did 100% 6.4, but I liked that it was a different set of skills unique to this fight and felt more like a game within the fight. Once you get the hang of it is kinda fun, at least to me and some others I’ve takes too
Stage 1 is sucks No idea what to do he's not giving his special on me and i perform 41 comp but he's not hit sp1 and I die I have lost so many unit I'm stuck there
It takes forever to generate the muscle memory to play this game normally. Now there's a fight I have to spend revive after revive just to practice on...:( I've tried once and 10 revives got me to the second phase. Had to quit for AW and AQ. Now I have to start over. There's not enough time in life to farm enough revives just to learn the second stage of this ridiculousness. At least with all the other content you can eventually get a champ that helps. Nothing seems to help with him if you don't have lightning reflexes.
Could you please tell me something 🙏?!? ( l have not reached act 6.4.6 yet, l am in 6.4.3) During the fight, if l don't complete all missions that GM sets....what will happen ??? Will he become wounded later on ??
The problem is if you fail too many missions, you will get too many blunders which gives him 3 bars of power and he kills you. Completing the missions is a way to avoid blunder so you can survive until the wounded state, but also in the process gain competence which helps you get more damage.
I just finished 6.4.5 and i want to do the GM quest so can you suggest me the best path that will make the GM fight easier...I heard that some paths allow 3 blunders in the GM fight while others allow 5 blunders
Yea you can read the links on the sentinels to see what they do. One makes it so his sp1 isn’t unblockable which can be handy, the sunspot mini boss route is the one that makes it only 3 blunder, I think I did the tenacity one with the opportunistic sentinel, the problem is that lane is challenging but is probably the best lane to take to make grandmaster as easy as possible
@@thegrindmcoc7966 thanks for the reply i will read through them but it would be helpful if you could tell me the one that makes his sp1 not unblockable
If you have Mr Fantastic and Diablo you can use as synergy for Dr Doom then the Lifecycle path isn’t easy you just stun lock in corner. I think the one i did first was the tenacity path, easy to ramp up Aegon too if you have him, only really challenge is the Annihilus fight.
I would just take a week farming revives if you can, if you’d rather jump in right away I would plan to have close to 1500-2000 units just in case it takes you a few cycles to get the hang of his prompts so you can get to wounded. The issue with this fight is you can just unit man 5% at a time regardless because you do such little damage unless you wound him so you have to complete enough prompts to wound him before doing damage.
Damn that sucks!! Are you still pushing to get throne breaker? Consider saving up 3500 units before you complete 7.1, then if you don’t get the right catalyst you can purchase the selector deal if you’re close enough
@@thegrindmcoc7966 I thought o would be thrown breaker after that fight! Seems like the goal part just keeps moving. I'm at 90% and don't plan on going to Act 7 anytime soon. I did Act 6 in two days. I'm turned off at this point. It's frustrating to do all this work for the rewards not to add it. We should be given a T5 to pick from.
Unfortunately they’ve kept full t5 on such a lockdown.. only way to get a full one is from act 6 exploration and abyss completion but they’re random 🤦♂️
Who comes up with this stuff? Why couldn't they just add tons health and damage then be done with it? I mean we already have champions with books for skill sheets lol.....this doesn't look fun at all to me.....not even close
The higher you get in story questing, the more monotonous it can get so these bosses are actually fun late in the game. They used to just ramp up attacks super high but it was dumb because 5 parry’s and you die.. so they had to find other options haha
Yea that’s the most annoying part for me cause it can happen during a special attack or as he is dashing in at you.. you have to watch the timer and then play it as safe as possible right before it triggers. Then try to wait it out
It’s not fun when you first get there and just need to get through to move on to better things. But when you want the challenge it can be fun to try to master

Love the little piss take 5 hit combo into heavy before the SP3 at the end! I'm at him now, if I get to SP3 I'll hit it so hard my phone breaks.
So much going on, really complicated. So many things to look out for it’s madness
Yea it is a lot.. takes some memorizations or have it written down and pause between phases if you manage to complete more phases at a time haha

Gotta get dex, light attacks, and parry banned before he throws it I think
Excellent video. Here is my question. You get those commands, if I fail those commands, do the blunders fall off ?
If you fail the command you will get extra blunder. Too many and he gets sp3.

Yea this is definitely a challenging road block fight :(
Great info
After I complete the banned items, he goes to sp1, can I use dexterity without getting a blunder
Yes once all 3 actions are banned, you can then use dexterity to avoid sp1 cause the bans are removed
Im struggling on getting to dex his sp1 .hes currently on 27%
