Craft Ideas: Sadness into Gladness

This lesson focuses on words from the prophet Jeremiah. Although referred to as the “weeping prophet” for the many hardships he faced, the message he gave in this passage is one of hope and promise of restoration. Jeremiah preached of God’s love and faithfulness. These crafts reflect on the good news of Jeremiah 31. A “Dancing Lady Puppet” recalls the verse that mentions rejoicing with dance. A “Sad to Glad Mask” offer a reminder of how God can transform our emotions and lives. Let’s get crafty!
