I like the Spring ecosystem, and especially Spring Boot. Build wise, Gradle makes things somewhat bearable. And if you find Spring too heavy for modern dev, Micronaut and Quarkus are pretty decent as well.
i don't know whether you will see this comment or not. to me, your videos are informative and relaxing at the same time. i think your sound and accent can reduce stress. glad to see your channel getting the recognition. keep up the good work. God bless
The latest major release of the most loved front-end framework didn't get mentioned in the news video of a web-dev-centric channel... That's unfortunate Oh and also a random guy made fun of someone else for thinking the same, by largely downplaying and generalizing the relationship between these facts and events in a sarcastic way... I'm truly devastated 😢
Guys, I posted a dedicated Svelte 5 video yesterday - ua-cam.com/video/OCYU0s2WEho/v-deo.html I thought it would be redundant to mention it again today :))
It got some really nice things such as routes and authorization declared in the pages themselves, dependency injection, the IIdentity interface as a standard for all authentication methods, models than can be shared between the front-end and back-end, state handling mutation through normal properties. It got some drawbacks too such as a big bundle size, hot reload that rarely works, debugger which works poorly and weirdly, long dev loops where you have to recompile and restart is a pain in the ass and makes it boring and slow to develop compared to React or Vue on top of Vite which is so fast and immediate.
I would love to. Sadly there is so much information I can reliably g through and cover on a monthly basis. Hopefully this channel will grow further, and then I can bring some people to help me on specific niches.

The good news is that it is Friday.
The PTSD from that Teams ringtone is real.
The problem with Java is not the language itself, it's the ecosystem. Freakin' Maven is an absolute pain
