do you think every woman in her family became a mom at like 14 or something? it's very possible for a 31-year-old person to have a mother born in 1965 or earlier, and pretty much guaranteed for their grandparents to have been.

@@tweekin7out I think he's just pointing out the unlikeliness of Savii being a boomer when its possible for her grandma to be the youngest boomer

    • @goleogthais

The term "boomer" nowadays isn't just STRICTLY for the baby boomer generation; it's now a catchall term for adults who aren't "with it" anymore, who aren't cool and hip with the youth culture, and being a boomer is also more like a mentality. There are people in their 20s who are basically boomers now, and 40 year-olds who are still cool and hip.

You get the impression from the Video’s Creator/Narrator that we should be commending the fact that Charli D’amelio & her family are failing in their efforts to make the most out of the opportunities they were granted via Pretty Privilege (aka “Jealousy recontextualized as Virtue”) and that we should pay more attention to people like her instead.
Perhaps not in those exact words, but the sentiment is there. The only reason why they really don’t like the D’amelios, other than the girls’s naïveté shining through in their shows/videos & their father leading the charge in finding ways to make the most out of the money they made, is purely because it butts in the face of much of what they preach:
We’re all equal and no one is more special than the other.
Until things like “Pretty Privilege” and people being so much better at things than others bring their theses of how they can enforce the End of History Utopia into massive doubt.
Charli didn’t ask to be famous and genuinely seemed floored by the overwhelming attention she was given (even despite being the most popular girl in school) and one would expect Dixie to want to be seen as special like the world once saw Charli as, so they embarked on this wild & wacky adventure to create that Generational Wealth thing that they’re being forced to feel bad about wanting + their father, a noted money man already, advising (albeit poorly) them on how to make use of the fame they were afforded.
Is it kinda “cringe” as the youngins say? Yeah, kinda.
It is somewhat exploitative? Depends on who’s asking.
Are they doing anything illegal? Not one bit…yet.
So frankly, it says more about the Creators celebrating their fall to irrelevancy than it does about the D’amelios. Between this video’s creator, Cruel World Happy Mind, and the rest…it’s pretty sad to see how much they’ll gaslight themselves into believing that nobody should have the abilities to do why they’re doing since it’s a laundry list of things that are arbitrarily bad because…no Revolution!

31:57 Oh my... Why would someone buy something that looks like your eyes are getting fried from the inside out on top of the pain that comes with walking in those things? I mean: it is already painful for you... why the double pain with that color? The Goth Boots i bought (after loosing my 180€ shoes after 8 years. Investment: worth every cent) were something not only practical but Black is something that works everytime... which is why i don't wear colored shirts, normally. 😂

BUT DAMN! Never hearing of Charli D'Amelio is wild as a person on YT.. no just social media in general.. for any length of time lol. and TBH i kinda envy that.. i learned a lot of things and seen a lot o things online i either wish i never did see/ learn or ended up learning about / seeing against my will (like Charli lol) just from it getting shoved in peoples faces.

Charlie is "meh" in every way, and yes I realize that im a tool for saying that, but I see nothing spectacular when I saw her video.
I have seen prettier, but she's pretty.
I've seen hotter, but she has a very good body.
I've seen better dances, but her motions are smooth enough to look good.
This suggests to me that I do not understand how young women operate because, and this is important... most of the people who watch her BY FAR are young women.

Here with my popcorn. I’m eagerly watching for the next 5 years. Already some abusive exs have blobbed up. I’m working on getting under 15% right now 😤 my first gf cheated on me with our boss and he got fat and bald within 3 years, and I got a degree with no debt and a good Pt score. 31:40 so when I was in highschool, I worked 1 day a week and got between $100-200 in tips a day. By the end of highschool after 3 years of working I should have had 15k at least. I blew most of it on steam games I’ve played once or league of legends skins I regret. Or collectibles that have been in storage for 8 years. I bought a jinx figure on eBay from some Saudi rich guy, the photos of it were with him next to the figure and holding it in like a palace or something lol. I quit league 6 years ago.
