That immunologist was awesome. The explanation was clear and easy to understand and was quite fascinating. I had never thought about it before, but that makes so much sense. ❤❤❤ Love medical information! 😊
The "eyeballs" tattoo: my first guess is that people think it's a bad relationship by default because Erin is in a wheelchair and obviously nobody would truly love a disabled person. /sarcasm Hence the "I'll prove to you that you boyfriend doesn't care about you by making him cheat on you with me".
That's exactly what I got from the comments. People who aren't disabled believe they would be unlovable if they became disabled so they assume the same for others and are shocked when they're in relationships
Guessing the tattoos and then hearing what they were and their meaning was a lot of fun! That would be a cool series. the spiderweb tattoo IS common knowledge imo. i wanted a spider in a web tattooed on my elbow but i knew i didn’t want to be associated with crime. i had multiple people tell me it would look like i went to prison lmao
I think with the flower one, the artists picture was at an angle that made it look way bigger and different. The pic he took of it finished is wildly different even then the one she took at home.
I would also consider her example picture to be a fine line tattoo and I wouldn't call the tat she received to be fine line. Just because your artist has done good work in the past doesn't mean they can do a different style/speciality.
Someone freaked out on me when they noticed that I have a signature tattooed on my arm. They went on and on about how stupid I was and whatnot but the moment their face dropped and knowing how stupid they felt when I said it was my brothers signature and that it’s apart of his memorial tattoo was so funny to me.
Another fact about tattoos and immunology. The ink getting cleaned up by by your immune system can be pulled to the lynphnodes where a lot of these cells "live" and it can dye them fun colors!
Concerning the five y/o tattooing her sister... BIG NOPE. For a list of reasons. This is where you ask the child to draw on a piece of paper and take that to a tattoo artist. Any way... new subscriber, LOVE your content!
I got a spiderweb tattoo on my elbow because I am making a sleeve with creepy crawlies, the spiderweb + spider will expand outwards on some withered flowers. Personally I have not had the issue owning such a tattoo, lots of folks here say it lost the meaning.
My brother is a tattoo artist, and he allowed each of his children to put tattoos on him once a year as they were growing of their own design and choosing. I think it was a really cool idea because he has his children’s artwork, made especially for him by them as they grew, to carry with him forever.
I mean that’s up super cute but… also illegal… I have a tattoo on my shoulder my daughter drew when she was 4 that I took to my tattooist and had done… probably a more legal way to go about it then having her tattoo it on me…
Love ur content so much Lauren!❤ Best tattoo that I’ve ever got is a cute cheetah with a some pretty scenery that’s all just done it black line work. The story for this tattoo is my daughter who was 3 at the time & 6 now, loves to color soooo much. So to this day my little will sit down with her markers & color the picture. It’s fun for her as well as whenever we’re in a waiting room, bored or even at a standstill traffic jam it helps calm her. She has anxiety & is slightly autistic so it’s perfect for the both of use.
We're at a time in tattoo history where things like prison tattoos are changing and becoming mainstream, For example your spiderweb tattoo no longer is an indication of being in prison but could also mean you just for some reason wanted one
My grandpa is slightly covered in tattoos. Hands, arms, chest and back. Not full coverage, but he’s tatted up ya know? When I started getting them, he called me one day and said the only ones he actually regrets getting are the ones on his hands. Can’t cover them up when he wants to. Other than that he still loves all his tattoos and has stories for every one of them. His are mostly in that Sailor Jerry style cuz he joined the navy when he was 15. Yeah apparently you could lie about your age to the government back then and they didn’t care or couldn’t tell. 🤷♂️😂😂😂
The last part regarding tattoos when we are all old ladies and gentlemen made me sad, nostalgic, fearfull and happy at once. I somehow had this strong image in my head where i am sitting in a nursing home in front of my laptop with grey hair watching a grey haired Lauren review her viewers tattoos from nursing homes all around the world. Sad, because i realized how long i have to wait until i can find out how we will all look then & how slow time passes Nostalgic about a past life that still has to happen in the future (from todays pov) Fearfull because hello, i'm old, i don't want to think about a long life behind me, i want to be young again and not die And happy because it's so wholesome and I'm glad that i ame not actually old yet & can enjoy all those future memories
I hope the spider web lady doesn’t get her tattoo removed especially if she genuinely didn’t know. Things can have multiple meanings and if she likes it that should be all that matters.
I have a spider web tattoo on my elbow! My tattoo artist swore it was an old thing, the prison tattoo, and that no one would associate the web with prison. That night I showed a friend's boyfriend and he told me it was a prison tattoo, but that it was fine I could get it removed. lol I was so worried to go to work with my "prison tattoo", but all of my coworkers now just joke and ask me when I'll be getting a teardrop. I love my "prison tattoo", but I'm saving up to add a spider next to it.
So with Erin, at least Jacob just got her eyes and not her name or her whole face. Eyes can easily be explained as something different or turned into something different if they did happen to break up. I have a matching tattoo with my ex, but both tattoos are two halves of a whole. I have the bride of Frankenstein and she has Frankenstein’s monster. Individually, they work without the other, but together you can tell that they are one piece on two bodies. We broke up 15 years ago and in all that time, I’ve never had anyone ask what my tattoo means. All of my tattoos are Halloween/spooky themed, so people see it and just say it’s a cool take on the character.
Been with my husband for 21 years this summer….we will never get each others names tattooed, despite being married for 18 years. We have a simple same design tattoo of an anchor, boat and sail (his is filled in, mines just an outline because I was done with rib tattoo pain at that point). He’s the sail, I’m the anchor and our son is the tie between the two of us and always will be. We have our sons name tattooed on ourselves, I have a memorial tattoo for my mom, one with my dads handwriting, etc but will never do each others names. The joke is he’s the second guy I dated with the same common name but my name isn’t common
Honestly? I wasn’t aware of the elbow spider web tattoo being a prison thing until you mentioned it in a previous video. Every days a school day eh? For reference I’m 34 lol
Hi Lauren hope you're continuing to do well after your Botox treatment ❤ Thank you for another video 😊 Edit: loved the first lady's explanations about what happens in the body with a tattoo 👍
I thought the little girl was gonna “tattoo” like idk apply a temporary tattoo, or draw with a permanent marker. Not actually wield a freaking tattoo machine. 😱 it still would have been cute if she got to draw the stencil and the adult tattooed it on herself but that seems like a major safety issue to have a child that young using a machine like that, and may actually be illegal depending on labor laws etc. wherever they were.
In every single video ive watched I absolutely love the tops you wear they are so fun and cute and always look good on you. Lowkey wish i could have you restock my closet
With the one with the little girl tattooing, I think it's cute and totally fine if she felt like it was a fun idea! I just personally don't love those kinds of things because my dad had me do that when I was a kid and I really, really didn't want to, but he would yell at me in front of his friends if I didn't so I had to go along with it. It's something I barely remember now, but I remember the feelings of his emotional abuse plenty and I have zero doubts that lots of kids go through that for the sake of their parents having something cute.
21:05 I love it, go get another tattoo! 21:34 Honestly it did look pretty similar, I think you're right she just wasn't ready for the space to be taken up. 26:12 stand up to internet trolls the normal way, by just making them look like fools. Getting a tattoo of somebody's name is not going to be the true W you're expecting
I guessed Taurus! I also have a spiderweb tattoo on my elbow. Never had anyone comment on it or look at it weirdly, but I'm in Norway so I'm not sure it has the same history here as in the US. I don't really care for symbolism in any tattoos, and whenever I read about spiderweb tattoos it's usually 50/50 of people who know or don't know/care what it means. Personally I see it as a classic type of tattoo, just like roses. I got it because it's a nice gap filler for an elbow (most other designs would look so warped on that area) and because two of my favorite songs are called "Black widow" :)
My favourite blanket (tho don’t tell the others) is one that i got in a book box and i don’t remember what book the blanket was meant to be for (don’t think I’ve read it) but the design on it looks like one of my tats and it was entirely unexpected and unintentional (got the tat before i got the blanket, didn’t even know i was gonna get the blanket nor what it would look like) but i love that it matches lol
I love horror movies and Lovecraft, Poe, etc... So my ink is all about that with a blackout arm (love it and I want more) and I also love it when people ask me about the meaning behind them, I get so excited, until they ask, what will happen when you get older. Then I get serious and tell them: same as you but artsy 😂😂😂😂
I had no idea about the prison tattoo web thing. I have a spider web elbow tattoo but I think the meaning of these tattoos have changed now that so many people have them. I highly doubt someone is going to look at me and think I’ve murdered someone 😂😂 I love it, would never get it removed!
Spiderweb on the elbow, it's pretty international, usually one 'row' of the web for every year served, at least in my country. Common one too is 5 dots in a '5 on a die' patrern. Among other things.
The prison tattoo situation is interesting because there’s a lot of dudes from the 2003-2009 era of emo/pop punk life that have a ton of nautical stars and spiderwebs that are not at all related to prison.
after i changed my name my mum had a tantrum about it and she has my dead name on her neck and now that she has calmed down after i moved out she’s covering it idk what with but i’m proud of her that she’s doing it my mum loves tattoos so she’s not mad about getting another tattoo either
I've been super depressed over a recurring injury to my ankle that makes it hard to do my job or anything at all really and your videos bring me so much joy and a much needed distraction! Also, Ugh you're so damned gorgeous!! Your outfits lately are 🔥🔥🔥 you always look fab tho 🥰🥰 29:57
My ex tattooed my name on his leg. When he did it I told him it was a terrible idea but he liked it. He said if we break up and he starts a relationship with someone else he would just say that him and I had a really special relationship and it was a time in his life that inspired him to do the tattoo. We have broken up, we’re still friends and he still has the tattoo. I don’t think it’s a terrible idea to get relationship tattoos, I think they commemorate a time in your life. ❤
Am I the only one who thought the 5 year old tattooing was straight up cute? She was being supervised by someone who knew how to keep it sanitary. With that small of a tattoo, there would barely be any blood, probably not enough for significant exposure, even if the adult in the room let it get on her hands, etc. without wiping it away. And yeah, she could have accidentally poked herself with a needle, but the person letting her do this probably knows they don't have any major blood-borne diseases and what to do if the kid is exposed just in case. Like, no, it's not perfectly safe, but nothing is. At some point, the kid is going to get some minor injuries. At some point, she'll be exposed to a tiny amount of someone else's blood. And for sure, she's going to remember that as the coolest day ever.
5 is way too young, she could poke her eye out or something. Even the machine is obviously heavy for her. I don't see the reason and yes everything could be risky but what is the point in this case? Wait a couple of years when the child has better coordination and impulse control.
okay but if she drops the machine and it skims her arm that isnt gonna be a minor injury... like?? at the very least itll leave a dot or line and at the most itll cut the fuck out of her arm... she could poke herself with a USED NEEDLE. like fr you cant just turn your brain off for cute video
Children tattooing is dangerous. I have had a blood borne disease, you do NOT mess around with sharps, or blood, or biological contaminants, even between family. She could pick her nose with bloody gloves, she could suck her thumb! Anything! And its a bad precedent; you've allowed a literal five year old to use a needle on another person. How is she supposed to differentiate when she's on her own, with other little kids? She's a baby, she's learned how to do something fun, and been rewarded for it. How is she supposed to know that its not always okay? Its so selfish of the sister, and especially of the parents, to put a little kid at risk like that just because it would 'cute' or 'funny'. Just get a meaningful tattoo that represents the people you love; don't put them at risk. (I'm sure Doctor Raccoon would understand the risks. Doctor Raccoon knows! Doctor Raccoon would put a stop to such nonsense🦝)
"How is she supposed to differentiate when she's on her own, with other little kids?" ...you tell her? "Remember, you only do this when I'm around and say it's okay." Yeah she's five and doesn't have the best judgement, but kids that age do understand when you say words to them.
@@Hearthburn1 I have helped raised seven children. Some of them would have understood the difference, but others simply wouldn't. Believe me when I say, if you suddenly break a rule like 'don't play with needles' just one time, they will get confused. Not because they are stupid, or incapable, but because they are five years old, and composed of curiosity and enthusiasm, not critical thinking. Its not the childs responsibility to manage their own safety. Thats the caregivers job, not the five year olds. Better safe than harmed. This particular topic just gets me heated, because I've seen how badly the "but I told them not to!" excuse can get 😓
It depends on how bad the cut is I have cut a few tattoos by accident and it looks like it's bleeding ink but it heals perfectly fine you don't see the scar there's no loss of ink or color pigment

@@katfromdenverNo one is giving a 5 year old a a sharp knife and telling them to repeatedly poke someone’s skin over and over, no matter where you are from. Besides isn’t about a kid being risky - it’s about responsibility on the adult’s part. That was professional shop and a child tattooing is illegal.
/sarcasm
Hence the "I'll prove to you that you boyfriend doesn't care about you by making him cheat on you with me".
That's exactly what I got from the comments. People who aren't disabled believe they would be unlovable if they became disabled so they assume the same for others and are shocked when they're in relationships
With the little sister I think she should have let the child make a drawing. Then have a pro transfer and safely tattoo it. Wholesome AND safe.
Guessing the tattoos and then hearing what they were and their meaning was a lot of fun! That would be a cool series.
I have a small rose tattoo on my neck, and I remember this one random guy being like, "is it a bird?" Lol it made me laugh, but then I looked at my tattoo in the mirror later on and I was like, "dang, I can see the birdness."
What is it really?
@@pattmahineyThey said in their comment, a rose
Getting a tattoo of someone's son to own them is creepy af
The eye tattoo is sooo much better than a name tattoo imo!
‘Not even Fenty beauty has this many shades’ omg Lauren, you’re a genius.
Also I can’t wait to explain my tattoos to my future grandkids, telling them about what they mean will be precious❤
Fenton lol
I’m in LOVE with the science lady… She broke it down perfectly!
Poor gregory, didn't even know what his mom got him into
I don’t think you can recognize a person by their eyeballs, they can say it’s just a pretty drawing of eyes
I hate the idea about people thinking of prison tattooes especially with the spiderweb 🕸️ like us spooky people just like spiders lmao , actually getting a gothic style spiderweb on my knee in a week 😅 wish me luck
Watching someone get so excited about what interests them, is exactly why I love your videos!!
🥹🫶🏻
the spiderweb tattoo IS common knowledge imo. i wanted a spider in a web tattooed on my elbow but i knew i didn’t want to be associated with crime. i had multiple people tell me it would look like i went to prison lmao
"Not even Fenty Beauty has that many shades" - I am wheezing! 🤣
The eyeball tattoo is not what I was expecting. I was thinking it was literally going to be two eyeballs and nothing else 💀
I mean that’s up super cute but… also illegal… I have a tattoo on my shoulder my daughter drew when she was 4 that I took to my tattooist and had done… probably a more legal way to go about it then having her tattoo it on me…
@@Rae.HarperOk?
Every time you say, "Okay I am gonna react to one more video.", I cry because I loved this series! We need more! :)
My mom taught me that cow car trip game and we ended up adding a bunch of rules and made it really convoluted and fun
You are so understanding and empathetic, it makes my eye-rolling ass wanna be better, and I thank you for that ❤
“cyber bullying…. It hits sometimes” Jesus hahahahhaah
“NOT EVEN FENTI BEAUTY HAS THIS MANY SHADES” took me SMOOVE tf out lmmfao😂😂😂😂
I LOVE coming home after work to watch your videos and decompress, thank you for everything you do♥️
Thank you for being here 🥹🫶🏻
Im getting my first tattoo in two weeks. Super excited, I actually designed it myself and I can't wait!
Good luck! Make sure you eat and drink before hand
We're at a time in tattoo history where things like prison tattoos are changing and becoming mainstream, For example your spiderweb tattoo no longer is an indication of being in prison but could also mean you just for some reason wanted one
I was having a terrible day, but you make me laugh always... thank you so much 💜✨
From the first one, 10/10 tattoo immunology content. I love it.
As a microbiologist, I approve the first message. That was awesome!
Guessed the tattoo on the lady that it was a cow. I don't understand how people saw anything else 😂😂😂 it was a cute tattoo honestly
I guessed a pair of bikini bottoms 😂 I definitely saw the cow immediately when she clarified though
Sad, because i realized how long i have to wait until i can find out how we will all look then & how slow time passes
Nostalgic about a past life that still has to happen in the future (from todays pov)
Fearfull because hello, i'm old, i don't want to think about a long life behind me, i want to be young again and not die
And happy because it's so wholesome and I'm glad that i ame not actually old yet & can enjoy all those future memories
I hope the spider web lady doesn’t get her tattoo removed especially if she genuinely didn’t know. Things can have multiple meanings and if she likes it that should be all that matters.
The little sister tattoo is wholesome AF in my opinion. Love it. 👍👍👍
I would love some kind of fashion / closet video! I'm always looking at the beautiful tops and vests you are wearing :)
6:52 omg Erin!! She’s so iconic, I love her so much lmao. She’s an amazing disabled creator and also frickin hilarious.
I'm watching this while I'm sick. Your content always cheers me up
Feel better soon 🫶🏻
thank you for your video i was having a bad day anywho the eyes tattoo is just amazingly awesome
Chaos energy is awesome 🤩 😊
Happy to see another TikTok reaction video 🥰
Perfect timing! Work from home day means spending my lunch hour in the bath ❤ Now I have something to watch!
I'm not sure Lauren would be up to watching me practically sleep through most appointments besides the one that wrapped around my ankle haha
When your period pain is a 10 tattoos don’t really hurt
I'm so jealous 😂 what type of tattoos do you have BTW? It always fascinated me when people don't really find tattoos painful.
it is so hot in FL, i wish i could cuddle with my comfort blanket without sweating. your videos make me feel cozy inside! which is just as good for me
Honestly? I wasn’t aware of the elbow spider web tattoo being a prison thing until you mentioned it in a previous video. Every days a school day eh? For reference I’m 34 lol
Hi Lauren hope you're continuing to do well after your Botox treatment ❤ Thank you for another video 😊
Edit: loved the first lady's explanations about what happens in the body with a tattoo 👍
My bf an I play that cow game. We yell "cows on my side" and when we pass a cemetery depending on which side it's on we lose our cows.
Love how your nails match your hand tattoos❤
I thought the little girl was gonna “tattoo” like idk apply a temporary tattoo, or draw with a permanent marker. Not actually wield a freaking tattoo machine. 😱 it still would have been cute if she got to draw the stencil and the adult tattooed it on herself but that seems like a major safety issue to have a child that young using a machine like that, and may actually be illegal depending on labor laws etc. wherever they were.
Just booked in my second tattoo for next week, I am so excited!
Yaaaaaay!!! 🥳
I'm in love with the man who got the name tattoo lol
Clicked so fast! Love this series ❤️
That second tattoo on the “guess what it is” tik tok is the Camino De Santiago logo which is a seashell that represents Saint James in Spain 😊
It's something I barely remember now, but I remember the feelings of his emotional abuse plenty and I have zero doubts that lots of kids go through that for the sake of their parents having something cute.
the tiktok about the science of microphages is so interesting I’m going to be telling everyone about that whether they want to know or not 😂
21:05 I love it, go get another tattoo!
21:34 Honestly it did look pretty similar, I think you're right she just wasn't ready for the space to be taken up.
26:12 stand up to internet trolls the normal way, by just making them look like fools. Getting a tattoo of somebody's name is not going to be the true W you're expecting
i'm so happy now i was having a bad day but you made it amazing thanks
I guessed both of that girls tattoos! And thanks for stopping after that one or I'd have been sucked in too!!😂
9:13 I absolutely adore this person's energy
Yyyyaayyyy! Definitely needed this today. Thanks love!!
I was thinking the same thing! I actually had no idea either of those were prison related, I just thought of band members lol
Yay, I guessed the tattoo right! Such a cute little piece.
after i changed my name my mum had a tantrum about it and she has my dead name on her neck and now that she has calmed down after i moved out she’s covering it idk what with but i’m proud of her that she’s doing it my mum loves tattoos so she’s not mad about getting another tattoo either
was so excited to see wheelierin in this video omg
This shirt is everything.
You always make my day I love your laugh!
The immunologist was great!
Oh I love the things Chala makes. I have a bag from them that has a tuxie cat on it and I use it to keep my phone in by my bed.
20:25 she got an imperial Japanese sun which can be seen as a hate symbol...in a glass house thrown freaking bricks
can be seen? 💀 I think it's pretty universal that it's a representation of war crimes.
I’m getting my first tattoo soon and I’m nervous but really excited. I’m going to be getting a matching one with my mom. Wish on yt you could comment photos cause I’d love to show you one of my favorite tattoos my mom has. It’s got a beautiful lioness with a crown and flowers around it, it’s super beautiful.
That chick is my whole spirit animal!!! Honestly sometimes it hits.... 😂😂😂
The Gregory Maxwell tattoo, again, you can cover it up later. But that guy is the king of petty, love it 😂😂😂😂
Day 3 of asking Lauren to review different colors in tattoos from their subscribers and show how they age ❤
I'm so early! I love your content Lauren! I aspire to have as many tattoos as you someday.
