@@TheFedeGamer99 big alice back boogies are still somewhat on the rail which is still guiding the engine along the track but its official that the engine is derailed and probably will stay derailed since rerailing a 700 ton engine is likely impossible including the fact that the other cars are derailed near big alices engine as well

I love how the show in season 1 went from the tail section being our POV with glimpses to the unknown up-train then S2 was with Big Alice and willford, And then S3 & S4 now being the unknown of the outside world

When this first aired, I was on the edge of my seat. I heard theories that Big Alice would derail this episode, but I didn't think anything of it until this scene. For a second, I thought it was going to derail and everyone was going to die. Or they'd survive but find no warm spot. Thankfully neither turned out to be true...otherwise I'd thrown my TV away.

Something that keeps bugging me despite the successful finale. Is the rail towards the Horn of Africa leading to a dead end? Taking that horrible track to get to new Eden makes you think this is the case but then why? Why would whoever designed the rail network make the track a dead end? Couldn’t they make the track reach the edge of the horn then go south and connect to the main line again? Or maybe is this the case but that part of the track is just as bad? So many questions about it and no answers just the same line the track is unsafe ( which yes it was but a little elaboration would have been cool)

Originally the train was designed as something like a luxury cruise, only at the last second was it modified as a ark for humanity, most likely the train was just supposed to go back from where it came. Also apocalypse and all they probably didn't have enough time to complete it.

Big alice was amazing! She cant ride anymore! But they could live out of her! There was a lab on bord! They had a kicten! They had quitment! It had seeds for plants, to grow food! They could use it, for shilter! From the wheath! Laytons baby was born on big alice!!

As seen in Season 4, they were able to repair the train to some extent, using a few of the cars for shelter and the engine for power. They might need to put her back on track now though!!!

Ngl, i was so sad when i saw Big Alice derailing. Oddly even more sad than when some of the human character died lol. I understand it couldn't have been Snowpiecer to derail as its crucial to the show but why make Big Alice derail ! I think what they should have done is at most make a few cars up front derail but not the whole train ! Also, sligthly different note but one thing i still don't get (and which i hope they cover in season 4). How are they gonna power the 100+ cars they brought with them ? Cos i'm quite sure that it has been made clear that, if the trains are not in montion...they cannot generate power.

they even said that if they went slower the bridge would collapse under the stress and weight and even when you get rear shot later in the video you see that behind big Alice the bridge was collapsing so if they slowed down they would go with it.

@@TheFedeGamer99 It makes sense when you think of Big Alice's purpose. Namely: to be a supply train that would hook onto the back of Snowpiercer. In that context, it makes sense to put the locomotive in the back, so you don't have to lug cargo through the engine spaces.
