Wonderful to re-live the Home Trails in Scotland, Wales & The Lake District ~ as a British expat now, enjoying trails outside UK, delighted to see two of our favourite trail storytellers explore and experience what some of us grew up with. Makes me look forward to returning to the UK and get out onto the hill again 🔆🙏
Oh boy, do i love this video. So uplifting and informative too! And so well cut together, what great production value. And on a side note: Billy, you lucky son of a gun, you got the wonderful, beautiful, impressive wife you deserve.
You fitted a lot into such a short time. Glad you had a good time in Scotland, our country has such good trails and scenery, it was good you were able to fit some of the best parts in your trip.
My favorite trail runner and his partner ! Thanks again for the great content. Signed up for the next and new US Lovetrails ! Met you at the really, really steep climb of the Western States Hoka Challenge...so steep !! So gracious !
Great film Billy! The UK has some incredible trail running from the Lake District, to the Scottish Highlands, and also the mountains of Wales. Maybe we will see you visit the UK again in the future, sample a trail race and take in some new adventures (recommend The Lakeland 100, 13 Valleys, or UTS in Wales).
You picked some of the absolutely most busy places to stay. Next time I'd highly recommend getting to some quieter spots just off the beaten track, you'll get a lot more authentic character along with fewer people!
You really need to do the Race Across Scotland the next time you are in the UK. It's a 215 mile ultra and covers every aspect of Scottish life. Another good run is the Rat Race - The Wall following Hadrians wall.
Thanks for sharing, great video, as always! Having been diagnosed with coeliac disease afterno gut symptoms but 'niggles' in joints that no amount of osteo or physio could crack, I'd be very keen to hear Hilary Yang discuss any challenges she's dealt with as an ultra runner with coeliac disease. I'm still trying to find a new 'normal' that I find acceptable.
Billy your films are amazing and I’m so glad you enjoyed the U.K. You really really need to come back over to Scotland to do an Ultra. The Highland Fling 53 mile race is my absolute favourite (check out some of the UA-cam vids) and also the Devil o the Highlands is so brilliant too! I’ve just returned from the California Fall Classic at Lake Sonoma and loved it so much I’m going back in March for the Big Alta, then back again in April for the LS50 and Canyons! This is pretty much because of the Window Seat Films!
@ I’m just checking out car rentals now for Arizona in Feb, travelling over for the Monument Valley 50K. Literally a fly in and fly out trip. I have a project from December 1st 24 to Dec 1st 25 called “Reaching 55”. That’s 55 marathons or Ultras in my 55th yr. there’s some other epic events planned like Leadville marathon, Broken Arrow, Barcalona Marathon, Beaverhead 100k and others. Can’t wait,
Loved the video and it is fantastic that you got to visit Britain! There is so much more to explore, so hope you get to come, and film here again. Random question please: what is Hilary's running backpack in the Scottish run? Looking for a large running backpack and this looks ideal!
We loved it in the UK, will definitely be back for longer next time. and my pack is the Arc'teryx Norvan 14L pack! I totally recommend, no bounce and tons of storage options. I used it all over the Dolomites as well :)
Love the film, Love Trails was awesome, was so good to meet you, Hilary and run with thousands of cool people. Shame about the result of the game, I was the shouty guy in front of you for 90 minutes. Sorry. ❤
As much as the joke is fun, you may be interested to hear that this is nonsense. In the eighties football hooligans called themselves soccer casuals, for instance. Soccer just means 'Association Football', to differentiate for example from 'Rugby football', or even 'Gridiron Football'. It's fallen out of favour and become a meme, but Soccer isn't a taboo word to refer to football.
Great video Billy but that wasn't scottish weather 😂, Scottish weather is when you can't see your hand in front of your face. Glad you enjoyed the UK. It's an amazing country which don't forget hosts the Spine race
I need to do more than 24 hours in Edinburgh, it was such an interesting city. And yes as a So Cal boy, seeing all that green was definitely eye opening!
As a Scotsman, trail runner and Billy Yang fan, this video makes me happy! Glad you had a great time. Alan
Lovely country!
There is nothing like Billy Yang Videos. As always, absolutely loved it. Much love from Germany Billy and Hillary!
I heard that Scotland is beautiful but it is literally awesome! Thanks Billy!
Whirlwind of a trip! We only have one turn on this ride of life! Enjoy and embrace every moment!
Our general life philosophy...thank you for watching
Stunning as always Billy! Great way to start the weekend.

Welcome back, my guy. Always good to see you living life.
You have a way of capturing the moment, you do so beautifully what a great adventure appreciate you sharing
the hotel in Portree looks awesome! like a cozy little tiny house.
If you’re ever in the UK again definitely spend more times in the Lakes. Best trail running playground in the country. Glad it’s my backyard 😊

@@HilaryAnn Brilliant, thanks for replying, had never heard of that one - appreciate it!
Thanks for letting us tag along! Hillary's grey running vest looks exactly what I have been looking for, does she like it? Which one is it?

6:18 is that the Gorge or Eternal Peril?
word "soccer" is forbidden in Europe. Great film, as always! Hope you reach one day to Romania to run in the Carpathians.

@@scriptosaurusrex i know. but now because Americans used it too much and they don't know the sport, it's forbidden :)))

Love Wales and the UK. Truly a beautiful country. And Edinburgh is such a beautiful city. PS - all that green is exactly the same in the PNW :)

No fish!?!?! What kind of Korean are you? 😂😂
a bad one. 😅
😆
Seems a bit rushed - the trip that is, not the film quality.
