I normally watch these before bed, but this morning felt drawn to watch while I got ready because I have a job interview for (hopefully!) my first big girl job out of college, and Kristin always helps relax me. But then she started praying for people going through life transitions and interceding for clarity and discernment and I started crying! Kristin, the Lord will reward this faithfulness. He smiles upon you dearly. Thank you for the heart you have to share the gospel and the faithfulness of God. I can’t help but think God lead me to watch this vlog this morning for a reason, and I am so grateful I did!❤

Omg I just went through the process of transitioning our toddler from our bed to hers. It was soooo hard but much needed for all of us. You have probably already heard this advice but in case you haven’t here’s what we did: let him pick out new bedding, hang up pictures of you and Marcus next to his bed, let him pick a new lovey, get him excited about his big boy bed and bring it up occasionally throughout the day to get him excited, and then we basically did the chair method where you start by sitting next to him until he falls asleep, the next night move to the door until he falls asleep and the next night tell him you’ll come check on him in just a minute and then pop in every 5-15 mins (and keep your demeanor 100% neutral during the pop ins and have a simple phrase you say if he gets upset I.e. mommy loves you, your body needs rest, close your eyes it’s time for sleep, and say the same phrase every time). It’s hard and there will be tears but it was worth it! You’ve got this ❤️❤️

I have just recently started watching your vlogs and I am inspired and touched. I'm pregnant with my first baby and it's a boy. I have found so much comfort in what you have shared about your birth and motherhood experiences. This prayer was for me. I stood making dinner in my kitchen just crying with folded arms. Thank you for that prayer Kristin. I lost my dad unexpectedly, graduated and got a new job all in the same week in December. My dad was my rock and he didn’t get to see me get those things which he had been waiting for and would’ve been so proud to know that. It’s been a huge transition for me and I’ve also seen that a lot of people I thought were friends disappeared when the going got tough for me so it’s been real tough. You hit on a lot of things I needed in that prayer and it had me choked up. Thank you so much and thank you also for being bold and listening to the Holy Spirit ❤️

I liked watching you talk about the prep for the party, the haul, and the day at the farm but I loved when you spoke about you personal time with God and when you prayed with us. It gave me so much peace when you prayed, I just wanted to say thank you for being so open. I have recently been trying to focus on God and live for Him so to be reminded that prayer is a very important thing was so great to hear.

Loved hearing you pray over us!!! I started praying out loud last week in my worship team rehearsals and before service. That was the first time I have ever prayed out loud in front of people. I didn't collapse out of anxiety (like I most definitely would have a few weeks ago hahaha) and felt completely led in those moments. Praying in front of others is so intimidating and I absolutely love love love that you added it to this video.

I have been having health issues for a year and a half and my husband and I have been trying to figure it out with lots of different doctors appointments, tests, procedures, etc. We’re continually praying for His will & His perfect timing with everything. The Lord has been growing us closer to Him and He’s been doing many good things throughout our “waiting period”, including giving us encouragements every day.
I cried a little as I prayed with you…your prayer was another encouragement for me, thank you❤️ Praise God!

With our foster son who was used to cosleeping we stayed with him by his bed until he fell asleep. I actually made a floor bed for me & would just fall asleep & leave when I could & come back when he needed me. Eventually I would sit in a chair in his room & leave earlier & earlier & tell him I would check on him. Also they can understand so much more than we realize so communicating what’s going to happen is super helpful. Good luck!!

We have felt led to do so to help plant a church in Tucson, a place that desperately needs the gospel. I am so excited for what the Lord has in store for us there, but I'm also really struggling with leaving my home. Hi Kristin! Thank you for the prayer. Your words were exactly what I needed today. I wanted to tell you what solved our sons sleep issue was getting him a “big boy bed”. A regular adult size bed and we made a huge deal over it so he was excited to sleep in it. Worked like a charm!! 😊
