We always call her Genius Wheein in a loving way, but I sometimes think we didn't give her enough credit for how hard she worked on her career, no matter it's about her music, her drawing, her love towards us etc, I think maybe that is also because she seldom talks about all the difficult times she had come through, and even when she did so, she just smiled and talked about it briefly, this video really shows how hard she worked on Redd, and she is an artist who has talent but also very hardworking, she is not effortlessly doing all the stuff, she just does it without showing the pain. It seems that Wheein-ssi is the type of person who has a lot of super deep thoughts, emotions and opinions but isn't used to nor really good at expressing them, so the more she talks the more questions you have, both because she may not have expressed it perfectly in words but also because everything inside her is just so ridiculously complex

I love her so much I capture every single saying she has said in my heart and think about it when I have time, so seeing her trying to express her worries about this mini album's preparations, her thoughts about chasing this career etc really got me emotional and have me questions more. I really fucking enjoyed watching this. I always like seeing these behind the scenes videos of comebacks, but this one especially was jaw-dropping-more so, during her vocal practicing session at around 17:49. Seeing Wheein sing so beautifully and accurately to the studio version is so, so impressive to me (albeit I already knew Mamamoo and their elite vocal abilities). Also, her breath control and stability is insane. It’s the way Wheein and the rest of Mamamoo have set my standards so high regarding groups. Love you, Wheein! 솔로 앨범 준비하느라 너무 고생많았고 수고했어요 ㅠㅜ 언니가 열심히 준비한 만큼 노래 정말 열심히 듣고 즐기고 사촌에 팔촌까지 노래 다 들려줄게요 언니 무대 보면서 노래 들으면서 너무 행복해요 방금도 엠넷 방송 보면서 무봉 팔이 떨어지랴 흔들었어요 진짜 이렇게라도 살아있음을 느낍니다...오전에 앨범이 도착했는데 너무 귀중해서 명품관처럼 장갑 끼고 봤어요 저....포토북에 사진들은 진짜...심장 부여잡고 봤어요 과제나 시험 준비하면서 우울해 질 때도 많고 이게 맞나 라는 생각에 제 모습이 매우 작아지는데 그때 언니 노래 들으면 갑자기 기가 살아서 까짓거 그냥 다 해내지라는 마음에 척척척 잘 해내요 진짜 고마워요

I really fucking enjoyed watching this. I always like seeing these behind the scenes videos of comebacks, but this one especially was jaw-dropping-more so, during her vocal practicing session at around 17:49. Seeing Wheein sing so beautifully and accurately to the studio version is so, so impressive to me (albeit I already knew Mamamoo and their elite vocal abilities). Also, her breath control and stability is insane. It’s the way Wheein and the rest of Mamamoo have set my standards so high regarding groups. Love you, Wheein! I’ll forever support you on your future endeavors :]
