The Otsutsuki can erase their chakra signature completely which makes sense as to why Sasuke didn't notice Borushiki.
Isshiki also popped up behind Sasuke during the fight and he didn't know. The same when Momoshiki and Kinshiki showed up during the Chunin exams and Naruto sensed them very late.
Makes sense! I think it's something we learn more about later in the Code arc.

I’m not sure if this has any affect on sasuke not sensing momoshiki but I know the otsutsuki can erase their chakra signatures. Even sensory ninja cand pick it up. Only other otsutsuki can. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but that’s always been a theory of mine.
It's not just a theory anymore I think. Momoshiki and Kinshiki was undetected at chuunin exams at the very last moment until they show up on the arena because of that otsutsuki ability. That wasn't clear until now. Also that ability explains the plot holes from shippuden if you think about it, for example how Kaguya sneak up on Naruto and Sasuke, or Zetsu against Madara and so on so forth. If not that ability Boruto couldn't sneak up on Sasuke with a rinnegan that had an ability to detect any chakra around.
It makes sense. They go into that more in the Code arc.

No worries! 219 will be up next Wednesday. As far as Patreon goes, we've stopped at 220 as we wait for the dub to catch up again with the Code arc. There's also full length for all those episodes as well on there.

The next blu ray set to release is the Kawaki Academy arc, and then I expect the next dub episodes to be the Labyrinth Game arc and then once they dub the Sasuke Retsuden arc, where we'll pick up our reactions again. No problem! I try my best to respond to everyone since I know most channels tend to not do that. At least as often as I can😅
